Thanks for the info. I started a lavender plant in a wicking pot with soil and grow lights. Put it in a bathroom with no windows. (Using it for visual only, not cooking). Will move it outside next month, based on this article, but it is doing really well so far. What would be a good plant to substitute that maybe has a light smell.
Well damn, in the back of my mind I was hoping to grow some lavender hydroponically...but 2 year maturity is really a no go for me. Great explanation, probably saved me a headache!
You can. I do. My conditions don't vary. Measure and be exact. I'm also growing lavender in bato, not nft or dwg. But I'm an experienced commercial grower.
I grow lavender hydroponically keeping the water at 6.5-7.0 pH and I keep my fertilizer between 700-1000 PPM and I also use vitamin B-1 supplement as well.
I really think it depends on the kind of lavender. I've grown lavender quicky and harvested it within a couple months of growing , and it loved hydroponics.
Thanks for explaining this cause me & my friend trying to grow that Lavender using a hydroponics system with a 18 Watt lamp, and not seeing anything. Do you know if cherry tomatoes would grow under our 18 Watt lamp?
All plants can be grown with hydroponics. I wouldn’t recommend bushes, trees, shrubs or any woody plant. Keep to the fruits and veggies is my recommendation!
I'm just trying to implement aquaponics system to my existing aquarium to get rid of some nitrates. Would you recommend it for me? I don't really care if the plant comes out pretty weak, I'm just focused on my fishies.
Lavender is a success with my rainpoint so I guess to each is own
You ve done it with hydroponic system?
Thank you for saving my family's time. This is a great video.
How about aeroponics??

Glad I could help! I was disappointed to.

Which kind of lavender did you use?
Please do share the type. My fiance wants to grow some.

Need more information besides the wattage. Is it LED? What color is it? What type of light is it? Does it hang like a shop light or screw into a lamp?
I would say you need at least double that
What about hydrpponically growing sweet Mellissa in an essential oil lab.
So do many herbs. Thyme and rosemary just to name two. I also grow hops hydroponically.
Can I grow roses/mini roses on leca?

Sorry! Don’t know anything about fish or aquaponics. It’s hard enough keeping plants alive, I couldn’t imagine throwing fish in there also lol.
@@joshuarudd6297 hey man, thanks for the reply and respect the hustle
thanks
Oh for goodness sake . Grow from clones like professionals , you grow them in Rockwool .
