I really wanted to like Rare Passion, I got it and macerated it for a few months and it felt like it was missing something for me, but I can't describe it. Sometimes when I sniff a perfume, it feels incomplete, like there is a gap with something missing for me. I liked it, but I didn't get to the like it enough to keep it. I smelled Valaya in the department store once and fell in love. But it seemed like there were no dupes out there, at least none people were talking about so I would know about it. Then finally someone mentioned Mystique Bouquet, I immediately bought it. It smells lovely, but I also have a longevity issue. Valaya was on my skin for hours, MB goes for about 2 hours. It has a dry smell to it, which I love. I love a dry, sweet citrus. I recommend it highly! Silky Rose is also a beautiful scent, it is a sweet and slightly spiced rose yet smells fresh, it's lovely. Hi my lovely angel, so glad you took time off and just chilled and I feel you really were in need of a total break. You work so hard and always spoil us with so many videos yet had so much going on with your life, you truly deserve a special holiday and time out and away. But I am also extremely grateful for your footage from Bali and the wonderful magical nature and the truly magnificent villa. I am a water ' baby' and love love love the water and also the big white sandy beaches we have in Tassie. I am happiest when I am floating in the sea or any water and see , smell and hear our nature around me. This means all the birds, hearing the ocean and sea breeze, the incredible smells of the sea, the eucalypt trees, pine trees and so much more. I am so glad you got swim and learned to love that feeling of floating in the water, I find it so peaceful and at the same time it makes me feel like a child. 😍🧜♀ I admit I get a touch concerned about monkeys. My step Mum had one and it was very nasty to all of us except it loved her. It would bite and do other mean things, even to the other animals in the house. I have seen the cutest fairy monkeys here in Tassie at Zoodoo which are smaller than your hand and I totally fell in love with them and the big monkeys but to see that monkey on your shoulder I was triggered and worried for you. 😅 I am glad you were OK, although your beautiful robe was held for ransom. 😂 I am sorry you had a lot of rain when you were there to begin with but perhaps this gave you the excuse to truly chill ☺. I felt as if I was on a mini holiday watching your wonderful footage of Bali, thanks my hun. I needed that mini break badly. It looked like THE DREAM VACATION ! Ah, anxiety, my frenemy that does not wish to ever go away properly, I know 'him' well. I hope you are doing OK with reduced medication. Beautiful , magical Rare Passion, I think the hint of cigars is what makes this perfume so special , and the way it is so hard to describe. I was trying to describe it and kept saying beautiful, magical and then a few notes and felt it did not do it justice. Every time I wear it, the magic happens. It takes me back to wonderful memories of my grandparents and now I have made happy scent memories as well, a compliment getter, every time I wear this and am somewhere with strangers, someone comes up to me asking me what I am wearing and get a compliment. Thank you for sharing the touching words Ali said to you about this perfume and you wearing it. I totally hear you, Gerry also is very stumm when I ask what the thinks about a perfume, I feel because I am so passionate about perfume and can waffle on for ages , he sort of sums it up like this " Smells good" . But he is also the man who says to me when I come out from the shower something sweet about how amazing I smell , I sometimes feel perfume is a lost cause for him and then he surprises me and I hear him tell a friend of ours that I have wonderful taste with perfumes, candles and how much he loves all the scents I choose. Mohra Silky Rose has now been moved downstairs until the warm or mild weather returns * sad sigh* as we have suddenly got very cold winter temperature, after having the mildest last 4 weeks with temperatures from 16 to 21 every day and now some days were only 9 degrees, which is COLD to us especially for autumn. I have not seen some of the other perfumes Down Under yet , you mentioned. But the coconut perfume sounds incredible. I am sure there were batch problems with Lattafa as I swear to you that the Ajwad Pink to Pink that I got is slightly animalic and has a noir side to it, as the leather note is what makes it special. I did get one perfume which I was after because of the leather note and I love it, which is Lattafa Kashaf, another perfume which seems to be polarising. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the leather note and I must have been lucky as I must have gotten a batch which was older as the sharpness and not so great start people talked about, left mine within a few weeks and now at week 7 or so it is so amazing. I missed you and am glad you had this magical holiday and am so glad you got to go there and have this magical time there. Hey my beautiful sister ❤ Oh I wish I could just float alongside you in the beautiful picture you just painted. I love such days too ❤❤❤ Bali was truly amazing. The green color just reset the eye strain, the sounds of nature helped reduce my stress and the smells, just wow. The smells were just nature and incense mostly. I am glad I just took rest instead of toiling myself to visit every location. So I also have very negative experiences with Monkeys. They seem to know that I am scared of them. Ive been attacked by Monkeys several times but I have not yet learnt my lesson lol. (I should burn that thobe of mine now hehehe). I actually quite love the rain. We knew going into this vacay that it would be a rainy one. The rain did not stop Ali and me to make the best of the resort. Everyone was looking at us like we were mental. I get horrible bouts of panic attacks sometimes but otherwise I am coping pretty well with the reduced meds. The first one month was very tough though. Getting used to living without medical aid was not easy. Yea Ali is also very stunted with expression through words. So it was quite shocking when he actually was so vocal about the perfume. It is so weird how seasons work in every country. Here we are entering the core of summer. Come June, it will be at its worst. We will only see some minor relief in September. Really not looking forward to summer. Also the change of weather has triggered Viral Flu attacks here in Dubai. Everyone is sick. I have left the Ajwad Pink to Pink to macerate. Coz you and another friend whose noses I trust have told me the same thing. So I do want to give Pink to Pink another go. I have been trying to get my hands on Kashaf since it is the dupe for La Capitale. But it is sold out everywhere. I will be getting it once it is available for sure ❤ I missed you more my hun. A lot has transpired in the last couple of weeks which i will share perhaps when I am ready to. I am so addicted to Khashaf but it does need to macerate and has that sharp start to it but now it has either disappeared already or I have gotten so used to it as they pay off is so good. I never smelled La Capitale but have smelled Mula Mula by Aussie Brand Byron ( you would think it would be a touch more affordable here but it is pretty darn expensive) , I was given a small sample and to me it is beautiful indeed and does not have the sharp start but also lacks the strength of Khashaf and that gorgeous leather note which I love so much. I prefer Khashaf 100% now to Mula Mula. I cannot believe that this would cost 8 times as much. 😆😅. My Mum always used to say when we were a family and my father would drive past in the green areas of Austria, as we drove to Italy for our long stay at the bungalow at the Adriatic sea "Look at the green, it will soothe your eyes and rejuvenate you" so when I saw all the beautiful nature I was thinking of this. I know the hills here with all the constant green gum trees soothe my eyes and soul. My poor babe, going into that terrible heat. I feel for you. But I am freezing at the moment, the house feels cold as it is dark outside and missing the ' solar ' heating we usually get with our big windows. It was absolutely divine my hun ❤ I missed the ATV tour Ali went for. He has a blast. They rode through rivers and waterfalls. I was being lazy and chilled in the pool instead lol. The monkeys were very aggressive and naughty lol. I was not prepared for the jump scares Hahahaa. Oh yes, the market has some very good Made in Bali items which are very reasonably priced. I did not do much shopping there except buying a dress lol. I actually enjoy rain a lot, so it was a welcome change from the very hot weather streak going on there. OMG Hahahaa. I just remembered the song "Itsy Bitsy, Tinie Winie, Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" Can you imagine me in that Hahahaaaa!!! ❤❤❤

I’m glad you had a lovely holiday. And I would never have guessed that you get anxiety because you always come across as a joyful person to me, which makes your videos refreshing to watch. I know what you mean about wanting a decent compliment from your husband about your perfumes lol. I haven’t been to Bali but lots of NZ’rs like it. My favourite island is Fiji, where I’ve been many times since it’s only a 3 hour flight away. I’d love to spend a bit more time in Dubai and shop perfumes. I did do the desert safari in 4wds and go to the top deck the burj khalifa. So different and fascinating, compared to NZ.

Bali was like 9 hours but it felt like eternity lol. You should definitely come to dubai and explore the old souqs and the perfume market. It’s a completely different experience and quite beautiful ♥️♥️♥️

I was finally able to smell Armaf Ego Exotic. Unfortunately, I wasn't blown away. In fact a woman next to me said it gave her Febreeze vibes. But I love this fragrance journey and I will continue to try out some of your recommendations.
26 hours!!! Oh my word! I travelled 9 hours and nearly lost my mind. I cant even imagine. I have the same concern with Bora Bora, sooooo far and not to mention expensive. Oh no :( But i can get why it would smell like Febreeze to some. It is a very white floral dominant perfume ❤❤❤

Hi Simin and my fellow fragrance lovers! I heard that Ghality might be Gucci's A Winter Melody clone. I'm not sure if this is true. The bottle looks similar but this doesn't necessarily mean anything. Still, when I looked up A Winter Melody notes on Fragrantica, they seemed to be a better match for what I smelled in my sample of Ghality. If it really is a clone or inspired by A Winter Melody, then the notes are Cypress, Bergamot, and Rose, with Cypress being the most noticeable. Personally, I don't like Ghality at the moment, but sometimes even samples need some time to settle, so who knows? I initially enjoyed the spicy woody scent, but it later turned into something odd, buttery-sweet, smoky and masculine on my skin. As we all know, fragrance experiences are very individual and can depend on factors like temperature and hormones.
Hey my hun ♥️ Although I have not tried A Winter Melody, ots notes do sound very much like Ghality, plus Ard Al Zaafaran is so elusive with the notes listing for this one. It’s different everywhere. I didn’t appreciate Ghality much either for almost a year or so. Just like you said, perfumes change so much on their own and on us as well ♥️ I hope you find the greatest perfumes on this beautiful fragrant journey 🧚🤗♥️

Hi @SiminShaikh. The cologne family you were searching your memory for around 31:09 was 4711; the right kind of thing to want after coming out of the pool on a hot and humid day. I am a man so I might go with Clinique Happy for Men, Diptyque Philosykos EDT or Diptyque Eau de Minthe EDT instead on a hot day. If you like the 4711 Orange Mandarin (and Lime, I think it is) and orange flavours as much as I do you might want to try Diptyque Eau des Sens sometime as well (yum!). And no I'm not just into Western. My first bottle of Khamrah is due to arrive this week, and I have ordered a couple of Ouds since I need to be able to make them someday! I love your videos - I am trying to understand why women relate to perfume the way they do, I'm an apprentice perfumer - but I always feel out of breath at the end of them!

Rare Passion is seductive coz it's got a faint resemblance to (not in duping way) Hypnotic Poison by Dior (even the bottles are similar 😉) Hypnotic Poison was/is always gonna be my sexy time scent 😅 And the name your forgot is 4711 😅 the world's oldest cologne, that collection is amazing 👌🏽especially the remix versions 🎉❤

I got too greedy too soon and ordered so many one after the other 🤦 I highly recommend you start with Lavender Remix Cologne (it is Bea. U. Ti. Ful!) especially with our 🇦🇪 weather getting hot already, it's gonna be a summer hit! The Green Tea and Bergamot is very refreshing and Neroli Remix Cologne is very perfumey and long lasting for a cologne. I've even got their mini collection box 🤪 I'm so broke it's not even funny....just when I think I've enough perfumes, I start to obsess over half a dozen new ones. Every. Single. Month 😭 How about we start a Perfume Club (like a book club but for fragheads 😉) or Perfumes Anonymous like AA 😆

I really wanted to like Rare Passion, I got it and macerated it for a few months and it felt like it was missing something for me, but I can't describe it. Sometimes when I sniff a perfume, it feels incomplete, like there is a gap with something missing for me. I liked it, but I didn't get to the like it enough to keep it. I smelled Valaya in the department store once and fell in love. But it seemed like there were no dupes out there, at least none people were talking about so I would know about it. Then finally someone mentioned Mystique Bouquet, I immediately bought it. It smells lovely, but I also have a longevity issue. Valaya was on my skin for hours, MB goes for about 2 hours. It has a dry smell to it, which I love. I love a dry, sweet citrus. I recommend it highly! Silky Rose is also a beautiful scent, it is a sweet and slightly spiced rose yet smells fresh, it's lovely.

I am a water ' baby' and love love love the water and also the big white sandy beaches we have in Tassie. I am happiest when I am floating in the sea or any water and see , smell and hear our nature around me. This means all the birds, hearing the ocean and sea breeze, the incredible smells of the sea, the eucalypt trees, pine trees and so much more.
I am so glad you got swim and learned to love that feeling of floating in the water, I find it so peaceful and at the same time it makes me feel like a child. 😍🧜♀
I admit I get a touch concerned about monkeys. My step Mum had one and it was very nasty to all of us except it loved her. It would bite and do other mean things, even to the other animals in the house. I have seen the cutest fairy monkeys here in Tassie at Zoodoo which are smaller than your hand and I totally fell in love with them and the big monkeys but to see that monkey on your shoulder I was triggered and worried for you. 😅 I am glad you were OK, although your beautiful robe was held for ransom. 😂

Beautiful , magical Rare Passion, I think the hint of cigars is what makes this perfume so special , and the way it is so hard to describe. I was trying to describe it and kept saying beautiful, magical and then a few notes and felt it did not do it justice. Every time I wear it, the magic happens. It takes me back to wonderful memories of my grandparents and now I have made happy scent memories as well, a compliment getter, every time I wear this and am somewhere with strangers, someone comes up to me asking me what I am wearing and get a compliment. Thank you for sharing the touching words Ali said to you about this perfume and you wearing it.
I totally hear you, Gerry also is very stumm when I ask what the thinks about a perfume, I feel because I am so passionate about perfume and can waffle on for ages , he sort of sums it up like this " Smells good" . But he is also the man who says to me when I come out from the shower something sweet about how amazing I smell , I sometimes feel perfume is a lost cause for him and then he surprises me and I hear him tell a friend of ours that I have wonderful taste with perfumes, candles and how much he loves all the scents I choose.
Mohra Silky Rose has now been moved downstairs until the warm or mild weather returns * sad sigh* as we have suddenly got very cold winter temperature, after having the mildest last 4 weeks with temperatures from 16 to 21 every day and now some days were only 9 degrees, which is COLD to us especially for autumn.
I have not seen some of the other perfumes Down Under yet , you mentioned. But the coconut perfume sounds incredible.
I am sure there were batch problems with Lattafa as I swear to you that the Ajwad Pink to Pink that I got is slightly animalic and has a noir side to it, as the leather note is what makes it special.
I did get one perfume which I was after because of the leather note and I love it, which is Lattafa Kashaf, another perfume which seems to be polarising. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the leather note and I must have been lucky as I must have gotten a batch which was older as the sharpness and not so great start people talked about, left mine within a few weeks and now at week 7 or so it is so amazing.
I missed you and am glad you had this magical holiday and am so glad you got to go there and have this magical time there.

Bali was truly amazing. The green color just reset the eye strain, the sounds of nature helped reduce my stress and the smells, just wow. The smells were just nature and incense mostly. I am glad I just took rest instead of toiling myself to visit every location.
So I also have very negative experiences with Monkeys. They seem to know that I am scared of them. Ive been attacked by Monkeys several times but I have not yet learnt my lesson lol. (I should burn that thobe of mine now hehehe).
I actually quite love the rain. We knew going into this vacay that it would be a rainy one. The rain did not stop Ali and me to make the best of the resort. Everyone was looking at us like we were mental.
I get horrible bouts of panic attacks sometimes but otherwise I am coping pretty well with the reduced meds. The first one month was very tough though. Getting used to living without medical aid was not easy.
Yea Ali is also very stunted with expression through words. So it was quite shocking when he actually was so vocal about the perfume.
It is so weird how seasons work in every country. Here we are entering the core of summer. Come June, it will be at its worst. We will only see some minor relief in September. Really not looking forward to summer. Also the change of weather has triggered Viral Flu attacks here in Dubai. Everyone is sick.
I have left the Ajwad Pink to Pink to macerate. Coz you and another friend whose noses I trust have told me the same thing. So I do want to give Pink to Pink another go. I have been trying to get my hands on Kashaf since it is the dupe for La Capitale. But it is sold out everywhere. I will be getting it once it is available for sure ❤

I am so addicted to Khashaf but it does need to macerate and has that sharp start to it but now it has either disappeared already or I have gotten so used to it as they pay off is so good. I never smelled La Capitale but have smelled Mula Mula by Aussie Brand Byron ( you would think it would be a touch more affordable here but it is pretty darn expensive) , I was given a small sample and to me it is beautiful indeed and does not have the sharp start but also lacks the strength of Khashaf and that gorgeous leather note which I love so much. I prefer Khashaf 100% now to Mula Mula. I cannot believe that this would cost 8 times as much. 😆😅. My Mum always used to say when we were a family and my father would drive past in the green areas of Austria, as we drove to Italy for our long stay at the bungalow at the Adriatic sea "Look at the green, it will soothe your eyes and rejuvenate you" so when I saw all the beautiful nature I was thinking of this. I know the hills here with all the constant green gum trees soothe my eyes and soul. My poor babe, going into that terrible heat. I feel for you. But I am freezing at the moment, the house feels cold as it is dark outside and missing the ' solar ' heating we usually get with our big windows.

Oh yes, the market has some very good Made in Bali items which are very reasonably priced. I did not do much shopping there except buying a dress lol.
I actually enjoy rain a lot, so it was a welcome change from the very hot weather streak going on there.

I haven’t been to Bali but lots of NZ’rs like it. My favourite island is Fiji, where I’ve been many times since it’s only a 3 hour flight away.
I’d love to spend a bit more time in Dubai and shop perfumes. I did do the desert safari in 4wds and go to the top deck the burj khalifa. So different and fascinating, compared to NZ.

I was finally able to smell Armaf Ego Exotic. Unfortunately, I wasn't blown away. In fact a woman next to me said it gave her Febreeze vibes. But I love this fragrance journey and I will continue to try out some of your recommendations.

Hi Simin and my fellow fragrance lovers! I heard that Ghality might be Gucci's A Winter Melody clone. I'm not sure if this is true. The bottle looks similar but this doesn't necessarily mean anything. Still, when I looked up A Winter Melody notes on Fragrantica, they seemed to be a better match for what I smelled in my sample of Ghality. If it really is a clone or inspired by A Winter Melody, then the notes are Cypress, Bergamot, and Rose, with Cypress being the most noticeable. Personally, I don't like Ghality at the moment, but sometimes even samples need some time to settle, so who knows? I initially enjoyed the spicy woody scent, but it later turned into something odd, buttery-sweet, smoky and masculine on my skin. As we all know, fragrance experiences are very individual and can depend on factors like temperature and hormones.

Although I have not tried A Winter Melody, ots notes do sound very much like Ghality, plus Ard Al Zaafaran is so elusive with the notes listing for this one. It’s different everywhere.
I didn’t appreciate Ghality much either for almost a year or so. Just like you said, perfumes change so much on their own and on us as well ♥️ I hope you find the greatest perfumes on this beautiful fragrant journey 🧚🤗♥️

Hi @SiminShaikh. The cologne family you were searching your memory for around 31:09 was 4711; the right kind of thing to want after coming out of the pool on a hot and humid day. I am a man so I might go with Clinique Happy for Men, Diptyque Philosykos EDT or Diptyque Eau de Minthe EDT instead on a hot day. If you like the 4711 Orange Mandarin (and Lime, I think it is) and orange flavours as much as I do you might want to try Diptyque Eau des Sens sometime as well (yum!).
And no I'm not just into Western. My first bottle of Khamrah is due to arrive this week, and I have ordered a couple of Ouds since I need to be able to make them someday!

Ful!) especially with our 🇦🇪 weather getting hot already, it's gonna be a summer hit! The Green Tea and Bergamot is very refreshing and Neroli Remix Cologne is very perfumey and long lasting for a cologne. I've even got their mini collection box 🤪 I'm so broke it's not even funny....just when I think I've enough perfumes, I start to obsess over half a dozen new ones. Every. Single. Month 😭 How about we start a Perfume Club (like a book club but for fragheads 😉) or Perfumes Anonymous like AA 😆
