I tried to conclude everything a little bit :)
1. Get a Owner manual
2. Before each ride - Inspection Tired
- Cracks
- Nails
- Holes
Replace the tires!
Don't use fix-a-flat
Don't use plug the tire
3. Check Tire Pressure
- Differs per bike
- Differs riding solo or passenger
4. Threads
Penny - If you see full head of Abraham Lincoln - Time to replace
Check the age of them. On the side in 01(the first week of)/17 (2017)
8 - 10 years old > Replace them.
Below that > Check if thread is deep enough and no cracks.
5. Oil Changes
Change it every season (year)
Replace oil filter when changing oil.
Remove gasket on oil filter, don't double gasket in case of oil leak.
What oil? > Manual or do some research
When changing > Motor on level surface and turned OFF. After running let it sit 10 minutes.
Sight glass > Somewhere between bottom and top line
Dipstick > Somewhere between bottom and top line as well
6. Air filter
Inspect 3 times per year for slits, tears, cracks > Replace it.
Clean it every year
Paper filter cannot be reused.
Cloth filter can be cleaned and reused.
7. Chains
Check if the sprockets are the same height
8. Adjusting the Chain
Too lose = bad (wear out sprockets)
Too tight = bad (snapping)
Measure the "bounce" should be an inch.
Chain blocks for adjusting the chain.
9. Cleaning Chain
Clean your chain every 800 to 1000 miles (1287 KM to 1609 KM)
Clean it with Kerosene and a special brush or a toothbrush.
Make sure your cleaner doesn't kill you chain (in case of rubbers)
Upkeeping the chain will save you money in the long run.
10. Brakes
Brakes reservoirs > Dark in color? Replace it.
Be really careful. Brake fluid will destroy everything it touches.
Check break pads > Before Metal touch on Metal
Check pressure of breaks. Don't need to go to far back.
11. Battery
Get a battery tender > For when not riding in the winter.
Save money and battery in the long run.
12. Throttle cables maintenance
some throttle cables you can lubricate others you can
your throttle cable is not snapping back fast = bad
Make sure it's not pinched.
make sure it's lubricated.
13. Lights
Make sure they all work.
- Front, back, brake, turns, and horn.
Great video keep them coming. I'm a new rider I'm in the market for my first bike myself. This and all of your videos are extremely helpful. 👌👌
Idk if/when I'll ever be able to afford one but that's exactly how I feel lol. Just got a super big interest in bikes recently out of nowhere and am grateful af for coming across this channel 🙏🏽
Highly recommend the Honda CBR500R. New rider and grabbed a used 2020… it’s my baby
@@Kyle11011 how's the insurance if you don't mind me asking? I'm leaning towards a Ninja 400 because I've heard insurance is high on Hondas 😢 lol
@@AlmostLakai94 $240 / month and I also took a safety course for my M2.
Highly recommend taking a course.
@@Kyle11011 that bike was also recommended to me by a friend of mine who comes from a family of riders
U always give off chill honest vibes man love the tips keep the videos coming 🤘

Fantastic video! Your seamless blend of informative content and captivating visuals is truly commendable. Engaging from start to finish. Excited for more from your channel - keep up the great work
Hey man, just seeing this video. Your content is unlike any other bike content I’ve seen, it’s amazing! This video was so helpful!! I’m a new rider and looking to get my first bike soon. One question I had was how OFTEN are you supposed to check these things? Before every ride? Once a week? Once a Month? How often are you supposed to just do a routine check on all of this? I feel like the more you’re on top of all this frequently, the more it’ll just help you, your bike’s longevity, and your wallet in the long run. Just subscribed, thanks for all your videos!
This was very informative thank you.
Thanks for the info bro!
I would love it if you did a video on motorcycle gear. Like you did with the exhaust video! Pricing vs quality of the gear. Especially for new riders to be safe and get the moneys worth. I’ve seen some huge variations in pricing for helmets and it’s hard to tell the difference for me being new. Still doing my research before I buy.
Great videos lots of good information keep up the great work
Great overview, thanks man!
You’re welcome!
Always spot on. Cool t-shirt
You're a cool dude. Thanks for the info.

Great video - have you tried using Sunny D to clean your chain?
Great video and very informative, one thing I didn’t like is how that music is mixed into your voices audio. To many high hat rolls while I’m tryna hear your point, good stuff my guy
We need more dose of spunky boys
“Bleach” is a cracking album but “in utero” is their best work lol
Brother your knowledge is incredible,
Stay safe dude, all the best from the uk 🇬🇧👍🏻
Never mind was the biggest but in utero is a great album too. There are some good songs on Bleach as well, but thank you and glad I could help!
Hey bro enjoyed talking with you on nick nimmin channel today. Decided to check you out, and looks like you're doing good! You haven't posted in 2 months though bud. Don't stop long form. That's the big money! Anyways just wanted to drop a line and check your channel out. I'm subscribed!
How many miles you buy the gsxr600 with?? Looking to get a similar one
Have you done rebuild your gsxr engine?? Is suzuki more reliable than yamaha and honda??
do you recommend that mobil 1?
Hey wassup 😎😎
how many km does this engine travel with a tank according to A, B, C mode
👍💥✌
People watching thinking "What's a penny?" haha
Make sure that both wheels are on the ground when checking the oil level, and don’t ever use washable air filters !!
Video: Check the bike. Just replace the whole bike.
Music isn't for me. Lower level perhaps?
I mean it IS all about you bro, anything else we could do for ya? Thirsty? Hungry? Need a tampon?
Why’s this kid always holding a paper?

Can I give you some feedback as a viewer? Don't edit and crop the living crap out of your videos. It's incredibly frustrating to have the video skipped or cropped to another moment every 5 seconds. Just speak naturally, this is unbearable to watch
You speak too much about motorbikes, but you didn't show any skills on it.
Come to Europe and you will see how we use that bikes properly, you better buy a Harley Davidson.
There’s a reason you guys are kind of a joke to us lol all talk no game what’s the last notable thing any of you have done? Exactly
Peace my motorcyclist 😎
well 2 min in already dont worry about the age of tires, unless they have started cracking if not then I've never ever had a problem with them oldest tire i had was a bridgstone 010 and it was 8 years old felt fine then slammed it on my R1 I've used them all the and puncture repairs,
2024 I will be getting my first bike. Been watching a lot of YT videos on it. Nervous and excited at the same time. 🫠
which one did u get?
Keep it up man, it’s growing. Great job
