Beautiful show from both indigenous torres straight aborigines and Australian aborigines. This festival has been happening for decades. Every 4 years like the olympics. Originally called pacfest. Pacific arts and culture from the 70s right through until becoming Festpac from 2010ish. But you can see other indigenous tribes of Australia that went to previous ones aswell. We are all brothers and sisters of the pacific been sharing this traditions with each other for a long time. But I do wish for it to come to Australia soon. It's been held in Toowoomba before but GC or Brissy or Syd would bring thousands. Ill be there for the 10 day activity seeing arts, crafts, clothing in indigenous designs, wooden instruments used, the food etc.

@@Trey_Stylez-3066 Thank you my Brother for sharing this information. I will definitely attend the next one in 2028. Did they say what country will host it next? It was beautiful to watch all the SP countries unite in one place together ❤️ I am so proud of my Torres Strait Islanders and Koori Brothers and Sisters who represented ❤️ You are so blessed to have been! If I had known, I would have gone! I will check the other posts from previous years. Thank you for telling me this. Much appreciated 🙂 May I know where are you from?

Thanks, indigenous sis, much appreciated. The next festpac is in New Caledonia 🇳🇨. Just off the coast of Australia directly on the opposite side of the Great barrier reef. Not that far at all. And then 2032. Well be cook islands. I am from Cook Islands Maori or tangata maori. Born in nz and live in Melbourne Aus. 🇦🇺
Have always Supported and loved our pacific culture and highly respected it from australia and its surrounding families in micronesia and melanesia to our brown sth east Asian brothas and sisters from phillipines to Thailand, Taiwan, Laos, Burma, Cambodia etc to American native indians and Canada and its indigenous aborigines and sth american mayans, aztecans, amazonian etc you can find at Pow Wows dances america. And our Maori brothas and sisters of polynesia. New Zealand, cook islands, rapanui aka Easter island's, tahiti, hawaiians and our poly brothas and sisters from tonga, Samoa, American Samoa, nuie, Tokelau etc. This is all our pacific famz. And we need to keep our culture alive. And this is one way we preserve for the generations to come.
Australia needs this. For its cultural people here. Bring it back alive again to the city indigenous community. The outback and country keep the traditions alive. But cities not so much. More so Italians, greek, Indian, Chinese fests every year. But we need an indigenous festival day in every city or once a year in every city. Bring all indigenous together. ❤️
