- Overwhelming 24 Hours With The MUNDARI TRIBE Of SOUTH SUDAN (Bizarre)
The Mundari tribe is a small ethnic group from the Republic of South Sudan, numbering between 70,000 and 100,000 people. South Sudan, the world’s youngest country, gained independence from the Republic of the Sudan in 2011 after a 21-year civil war. During the war, Mundari militias organised themselves into commando units under the leadership of the present governor of the Central Equatoria State. They fought in Eastern Equatoria, Eastern Sudan, and Darfur.
The Mundari are one of the ethnic groups indigenous to the Nile valley (Nilotic). Their main homeland is approximately 75 kilometres north of Juba, the capital of South Sudan. Their lands are bounded on the east by the White Nile, an important source of water for livestock.

In this episode of the South Sudan series, we lived with the Mundari Tribe of South Sudan for 24 hours inside our Tent in a forest together with thousands of Cows. This will blow your mind, A MUST WATCH.
Fantastic content! These people have won my heart. They place great value on their own above all others. What a mentality! Marriage with a 'fine' light skinned foreigner = 5 cows, marriage to a tall delicate melanin beauty = 80 cows. Wow! South Sudanese are indeed a great people. Thanks for sharing this experience with the world
Before Indians came Africans were there! And Africans populated Africa! Glad to see an African man leading this content! Thank u sir.
Mow! wonderful videos and lessons, thanks nwatche😅😅😅
I like your friendly wrestling with mundari man, am from a dinka tribe in south sudan but wrestling is our main tradition sport event between us dinka and mundari which created good interaction and peace among our two tribe, you made a good tour

You are very much welcome 🙏
That was great Kenneth for being a good wrestler. That is my state and we speak the same language. The Mundari are the northerly most part of our state called Central Equatoria State. After the Mundari you will enter Dinka or Muru territory.

Good luck bro
Are these people the same as the maasaii in kenya?
No they are not Maasai, they are Mundari
Eastern Africa comprises of over 100 tribes which falls into 3 ethnic groups Nilotes, Bantu and Cushites. Maasai and Mundari tribes falls into the Nilote group. They however each speak their own languages and have their own distinct culture. They exhibit similar traits though - they're fierce warriors and love, love their cattle. Mundari are semi- nomadic and Maasai are fully nomadic. Maasai diet consists of milk, meat, fat, blood, honey. Mundari diet = milk, yogurt and fish. Mundari have a special breed of long horn cows known as Watusi. Maasai cows are the Sahiwal breed. Interestingly, there's a Mundari language in India and Bangladesh- no relation. 😅 Maasai also have very elaborate jewelry made of colorful beads.

I suspect Ken and Garima have a thing😂 Especially when i hear you were both fighting last night... really? Expound more on your fighting 😅
Well, I wanted us to go stay in a nearby Airbnb coz I was thinking those cows might dance on us by midnight or something worse, but she insisted we camp in the forest thereby convincing me. Go check out her channel, we spoke about it in her video and remember to subscribe to her channel
@@KNTshows I get you bro😂
hi l like ur videos nice to visit my country but you need someone to translate to you there culture
Pls nextime respect there culture is very important please and please u could have take even is zep of the milk 🍼 is very important thanks next time try my brother from Nigeria 😊
Ok next time
We slept here last night 😂
You guys slept together? 😮
Kenneth i understand you, but that was not nice of you, those people really worked hard to prepare that scene of the milk and you dissapointed us, anyway Garma is a hardened explorer, you are a youtuber, maybe you learn from her
Kenneth be mindful that such things mean a lot to them. You noted that they are still pure and innocent and it is with that purity that they welcomed you and offered milk. To reject it might convey a lack of trust. Be open to new experiences as you travel especially to such inviting people
🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️👍🏽👍🏽!!!
It looks like the woman and the man are drunk and acting goofy 🤪
😂😂😂
Do you know if they were?
@@wakairu No, but typical behavior of someone under the influence of some sort of substance.
Garima was right. That was disrepect to the culture. We travel to immerse ourselves in other cultures and on this one you failed. Next time just take a small sip. Otherwise lovely video.
Alright, noted
I second this. That’s the true mark of respect for others especially after they have gone out of their way to welcome you into their mold. A tiny sip or bite goes a long way. Also, you are a very respectful dude and I know you meant no harm but when you said “that is the best house here” I cringed a little. It’s not about western perceptions of “best.” These folks are rich and content. I can’t even imagine how much one cow costs! In any case, wealth is relative. I enjoyed the content though. Thank you for showcasing the beauty of SS🙏🏿.
