Mohammed Rafi was an Indian playback singer and one of the most popular and successful singers of the Hindi film industry.
Rafi Saab was notable for his voice and versatility,his songs ranged from Classical numbers to Patriotic songs, Sad Lamentations to Highly Romantic Numbers, Qawwalis to Ghazals and Bhajans.
He was known for his ability to mould his voice to the Persona of the actor, lip-syncing the song on screen in the movie.
Rafi Saab received

@@ckamalakanth9532 Ghantasala is 100. Mohammad Rafi is 90. Ghantasala is much better than Mohammad Rafi. Ghantasala did not show interest to go to Hindi, otherwise he would have been a big competition for Rafi. While Suvarna Sundari Hindi songs were being recorded, Lata Mangeshkar asked ghantasala to sing 'kuhu kuhu' song as she felt that he could sing better but then Ghantasala did not show interest. SPB followed Rafi as it was easier than following Ghantasala.
