I happen to own all of the Haro,s from my childhood to this day , all in great shape , all with the same components . My list of Haro,s I own are a 1987 Haro sport , a 1988 Haro FSX , a 1989 Haro Team Master w/ bash guard / black , a 1990 Haro Air Master w/ bash guard / neon red , & a 1992 Haro Master w/ bash guard / grey w/ purple specks & mother of Pearl overlay . Now they are worth a small Fortune . I have friends who are now in the process of refurbishing their old bikes they had when they were kids. One is refurbishing a Bully & a Redline RL-22 & the other another bully that needs paint & a new sticker kit all of them have no visible rust . If you refurbish a old school or mid school bike make sure that you take it to someone who uses the old school or mid school paint that they used back then , it will definitely make the bike worth more in price . I plan to get all of my bikes insured within the next month or so , one of the guys refurbishing his bikes said that that’s the best thing you can do right now if the bike is original because company’s that were in existence back then are no longer so it makes parts rare & hard to find . I do know that Bob Haro did indeed sell the Haro company in the mid 90s & all of the designs ,shapes & metal Materials changed when he did so , now they don’t make parts or bikes out of 4130 Chrome Molly like they did back then which that also makes the bike more valuable . Know all your facts before tossing one of your old bikes in the trash I just might be worth a great amount of money .
The Gyro gives flawless rear brakes. With a regular cable the braking varies depending upon where the bars are turned, and the dangling cable bounces around all over the place. The Gyro is always consistent, and the cables are out of the way. Also, forgetting to unwrap the regular cable will make a second decade memorable when the cable binds up 😁 Nice bikes 👍
Nice bro! I actually own one of the sample air master frames. Mine is 20.75 vs the production that are 20.5. I built mine up with chrome parts instead of the black ones that the production bikes have. I just wish I had the fusion rims. I also own some of the sample bikes like the 2020 black sport and smoked chrome master. And I do own the single top tube bashguard master in red like Ron Wilkersons old bike And John B black master with sample parts. That frame was kept in Taiwan to test fit the bashguard mold. There’s only 4 of those frames in existence and I have 2. I’m a big fan of the bashguard bikes.
I owned a few Haro's back in the day but my 91 airmaster was overall the best bike I've had the pleasure of riding until I landed of a wall ride and completely snapped the twin top tube!!! Sad day... RIP 😢

Riding changed a whole lot after 87-88. Everything just exploded to the point where the bikes couldn't keep up with the tricks without being totally redesigned. I remember 44-16 gearing, brake locks and grip tape.

I never have issues with damaged boxes shipped ups or usps, fedex on the other hand always delivers a damaged box. Love the new bike, keep shredding 🤙

This is a repo of the 91 Master and that is the year that they stopped doing fork standers. So this bike wouldn't have had them.

Between Haro and GT doing reissues, Haro did the better job. GT is putting way too many black pieces on them to look even close to the old ones.
