I own this mug and I love it because it will keep my coffee super hot a lot longer. The only thing I miss is I do like to warm my hands on the traditional mugs so I will go back and forth between the two
I do not drink coffee but I like it because while I work on a computer all day; 1) low profile and wide bottom of a coffee mug is less tip proof. 2) This lid is simple to use and easier to clean than the leak proof lids while still providing more protection than I would otherwise use.. 3) doesn't sweat on my desk. 4) Keeps my beverage cold. This is my office/round the house mug- I use other types for the boat, backpack, driving, etc. Basically, I have all the styles and use this most often when working from home.
Coffee actually tastes better to me as it slowly cools. Coffee has a “cooked” taste the longer it stays at the hot temperature. For me, keeping it in a Yeti isn’t too appealing. It basically just cooks in the Yeti at that continual hot temp.
I am WFH and drink a cup in about 30 minutes. Was using an Ember mug, but it’s pealing so needs to be replaced. Will this keep coffee hot uncovered while drinking within 30 minutes. A normal mug does not. I don’t want to drink out of a sippie cup.
today i ordered a HYDRO FLASK-compatible silicone boot sleeve for my STANLEY Action Trigger travel mug. only 70cents from AliX. estimated delivery date march 22, i.e. in 3.0 months lmao
@@bottlestoconsider1147 haha :D anyway the original HYDRO FLASK silicone boot sleeve does fit on the STANLEY, i've tested it. so there's some hope with the AliX order yay!

Yes I feel you on that! Something is lost when the mug itself doesn't get nice and toasty.
Looks like they added a cool(?) magnetic slider for the previously always-open sippy hole
yes it's a definite upgrade, but don't be fooled -- still not leak-proof!
GRET REVIEW VERY MUG gar
Glad you enjoyed!
I feel like my yeti 20 ounce travel mug keeps hotter than my 14 ounce mug… dunno why but….
Interesting!
14oz is bigger than the normal sized mug

Makes total sense. I forget if I mentioned this in the vid, but I even use sometimes for smoothies when I'm working from home.
I love my 14 oz Rambler. I tried the 12 oz Stanley mug and hated it - mostly because the handle was thin and cut into the hand.
yes I feel the same way!

The same Chinese make Walmart and the Yeti cup 🤔 sorry 🥱

I guess it depends how hot you need it -- it will cool down some in 30 minutes, but much less so than with a regular mug
Finally
good video buddy, keep up the good work
Thanks - glad you enjoyed!
