Thank you for this very helpful information. I will be visiting San Miguel de Allende February 1-7, 2025 and may return for a longer visit later. I was wondering about volunteer opportunities for expats? I am an animal lover and a former tutor and elementary school teacher.
We agree! It is Sunday, December 15 and it was 80 and sunny today; absolutely gorgeous! It gets chilly at night, but the daytime temperatures are usually in the 70’s.
I am exploring a move to SMA, I live in New Mexico and am retired…I would like to travel there to visit, I would be traveling alone….is there a service that I could hire to help me tour the city?
Hi! There are many Facebook groups with all types of info on services for San Miguel de Allende; I have found that one of the most reliable groups is called “San Miguel de Allende”
@@RosemaryBrittain Hi! There are many groups of expats who meet regularly in San Miguel de Allende. The easiest way to start building a network is joining a Facebook group. I have found that one of the most reliable groups is the one called “San Miguel de Allende”.
Great video, I am not sure if San Miguel is a place I would want to live at, but it is a fabulous place to visit .

I want SUNSHINE. Winters are hard on someone with depression.

Hi Sylvia. I was wondering the same thing. I'll be traveling solo February 1-7, 2025 and would love to meet a local who could show me around a bit.

Alright it's a UNESCO site. Can I still have a split AC?
Yes! Thanks for watching! Hope to see you here in the future.
I don't think most rented apts. have A/C, but it is highly recommended imo because sometimes it gets very uncomfortable.
