Catstr „All the new...“ means exactly two in this season, right? One without any motorization and just with one function, the other with an ugly app control. Well, this is more than disappointing...

Same. Technic provides a bigger challenge to build, offers greater structural strength, and can be used to make really complex items.
I like that the bucket is made from smaller "regular" pieces instead of some large custom molded part
I mean it’s lego if you make the bucket one whole custom piece people will complain, piece count will go down, it won’t really be lego anymore, and it’s not efficient anyways
This is the first Lego set where a gearbox actually makes sense!
There was once an excavator with a remotely controlled gearbox...
@@osmanpasha96 on that particular excavator my gearbox would always jam, rendering it useless. Maybe I built something wrong.

Great set, nice details. I wish they had suspension though. A construction machine without suspension looks odd, and it's really fun watching suspension in action. The middle joint is kinda weak as well, but other than that, GREAT frigging job Lego!

24:00 Fail... has two long actuators but cannot discharge all content. A foldable mechanism can be the solution but we are inured to accept this kind of "technic". -_-
Hi. I don't know much about technic. What were the b models?
@@deltaoscaruniform1316 like a few years ago the technic sets, as well as other 'categories' like the creator series had b models, these were variations of models you could build from the bricks if you didn't like the original a model. The creator series even had c and d models. There were instructions for the variants included in the sets, later only available in the internet and now there are even sets without b models
@@chickenfling I thought all non-expert creator was 3-in-1! I didn't know that changed with Technic!
That's where we fans come in! Just look at the 42100 b model eric trax built, a model of a bobcat skid steer loader!

Bro I've been waiting my whole life for one of these!
I was sitting at the Wendy's drive-up window so my step-daughter could grab something for breakfast on the way to her job. We live in a small town in Indiana. It was around 7am so it was still relatively dark out. I saw a truck coming up the road and it triggered my mind about this Volvo Hauler because I am currently assembling it. As it got closer, it started looking more and more like this vehicle. It was on the other side of the 3 lane road so it was still hard to make out what it was, but as it got closer, I could see the back looked familiar and then I spotted the long hydraulic cylinder on the side. I couldn't believe I just saw the real thing while I am building it in Lego's!!! What a ca-winky-dink.
Why would a 60t capacity hauler be out in the open? There would be no practical use for the capacity. I guess you are actually talking of something like the A25 model, which is more manageable for cities.
Nice early and complete review was looking forward for this one it’s a good size for loading with the liebherr.

I know it’s sad. Fingers crossed they rebadge it as a ‘Heavy Duty Helicopter’ or ‘Heliplane’ or something like that cause it has the potential to sell, just the name three people for a loop because of the military ties to the real chopper. Guess we’ll wait and see. 🤞🏻

That makes the Liebherr and the cement mixer look small! I like this set but so big and no space for it. Great techniques and love the working, controllable gearbox! I want that in my Land Rover! This just needs to be a little higher and have suspension - at least in the nose. Great run through. Thank you!

I really hope they do more of Volvo's concept designs.. that unmanned front loader was fantastic. This one just doesn't look all that interesting to me personally, however can appreciate the effort gone into it.
Also on a side note your reviews have come such a long way since I first subscribed, well done friend.
The hood actually looks nicer than that of the Chiron’s! Wish that the same could be said for the cabin though. Initially I thought the pricing is steep, but man that’s a huge set, which I didn’t realize until you put it alongside the Liebherr excavator.
Nice! The Lego boulder pieces would make a good payload!

Hoping to test the Control+ Functions in my Unimog (8110), RSR (42096). Expecting to keep them in the Defender (42110) in the end.

I was excited to buy this set so I can get my hands on Control+ power up. After watching your review, I changed my mind. I have 3 Lego 42030 sets, one for A model, one for B model, and one sealed box. I have Lego 42070 6x6 set. They are all fun to play with. Now that I have Buwizz 2.0, I will skip all the Technic sets with Control+.

I hesitate to buy this one. The lack of suspensions triggers me but on another hand it could be a great project to mod it.
Well, comparing to that A25F monstrosity with the hollow bed, it's pretty solid.
it would be great if they added a camera looking out of the cab window and integrated it in to the app, that would really increase the realism.

How does it compare scale wise to the Front Loader 42030?
Great review!. Really want to buy 42100 and 42115. But with new sets maybe to wait on 42115 till lego fix colour issue and buy 42114.

Would it be possible to switch the turn table in the centre joint out for the large one?
With pneumatics it would be perfect.
For information YES the central joint is very fragile u break it 3 times and the gear inside is a nightmare to fix
Funny how the 42099 is meant to be an offroader yet this thing has more power and better climbing ability. Obviously the lack of suspension and terrible steering would affect that, but on flat surfaces this thing pretty much out-does 42099.
Interesting that the bed is drive by the 4th speed of the tranmission box. Does that mean the hauler is at "neutral" when the bed operates? will it roll if it operates the bed on a slope?

Do I see correctly that the axle does not reach the M-motor at 8:26? And you make a correction on the axle, it lacks one to go into the motor.

Does the 42114 fit scale-wise to the 42030? Would have been nice to see the two Volvos compared to each other instead of the Liebherr.
Shame about lack of physical controller but can always use the brick controller app anyway to link it to a standard game controller.

I have the front loader (Volvo) it was a two in one and the second was a dump truck like this one but the bed had many holes as the loader did not need as many panels as they should have included for the dump truck
