This isn’t a funny suggestion, just something that has made a world of difference for me with this same problem. It’s called “body doubling”. Basically you just need another person in the room, and for some reason, it helps. I just get my daughter to come chill with me, and we talk, or I show her my favorite tv shows/movies, and it’s bonding time with a bonus of actually being able to focus on cleaning! Don’t ask me why it works, but it has been a life changer for me!
