Hey, I was able to connect my airpods, but it's not shown under sound settings. I have only the build-in audio system. could you help me with this please?
Hey there, if you’re running ubuntu all I could recommend is making sure pulseaudio is fully upgraded and you have any necessary system updates as well. You can also change the bluetooth profile in main.conf to bredr or le to see if they connect, or run sudo rmmod btusb/sudo modprobe btusb to remove/add the btusb module back into the kernel. Also a quick restart or two would probably help. Pinning this comment so some other folks can chime in with ideas as well
thanks it worked but this time my blueetooth keyboard and mouse dont connect. i had to write dual and bredr both. keyboard and mouse works well but airpods doesnt connect :(
I just did this, but my mouse got slower. It's pretty laggy though, so I had to undo the changes. I don't know why, but it didn’t work for me-it caused more issues than it solved. you know any other way to solve this? I want to use my airpods on my ubuntu 22.04
That’s…Very strange. None of the changes made here should have any effect on your pointer configuration. You should be able to change your mouse speed manually through the Activities overview (or somewhere in system settings), but this sounds like a unique issue.
Thank you for your insight. Unfortunately, this process does not work when running KDE Plasma on Ubuntu 22. Also, I cannot install Pipewire because of dependencies. I disabled it and enabled Pulse Audio.😿
Thank you for sharing the details. I am now connected following your instructions.
Thank you for this information, I was able to connect my AirPods Pro 2 without any issues.
Awesome, glad it worked out for you!
Worked after changing the config file
Thanks👌🏾
No worries 👍

I have the same issue, did you manage to find a solution?
@@lucmccutcheon6703Nope, bought a mac book since then😅
Same issue: AirPods are connected, but I don't see it in sound settings. Was you able to deal with it?
Excellent !! thank you very much
Glad it helped!

Ah, that’s a pain. I don’t use any other bluetooth peripherals, perhaps someone who does can chime in on this thread. Pinned
Thank you, works fine!
No worries mate
in linux mint I can only use handfree mode in order to use the microfone wich leads do worst sound quality
Yeah, sounds about right. A dedicated microphone would be miles better than airpods mics in general

Ah, that sucks. What is KDE Plasma? (And what dependencies are you missing?) I may look further into this
@@DudePingu Would you please tell how to do it pop os it doesn't install pulse audio and in there documentation they specified that they use pipewire
Great
thank you, sir o7
No worries mate
I seriously cannot get any fucking bluetooth device to use the microphone
Thanks! It worked!
Awesome!
