Nice fish. Good sizes. Since they put the slot limits on Mille Lacs Lake. The sizes are better, but that's usually what you catch. Be safe, good luck in the future.

No ignorance noted! The purpose of cutting it is to drain the blood out of the meat to keep it fresher and cleaner! Tastes much better
