The Golden State Warriors thing really fucked up KD's legacy and took a toll on his mental health. He used to be this sweet guy whose mom appeared on TV at all the Thunder games. He left and became this villain but that's not for everyone. Kobe even struggled with that and really only turned the corner when he started being a friendlier teammate and having Pau on his team. I feel like Pau was the first star teammate Kobe ever liked. Idk that Durant has had a friend like that on one of his teams. He's played with awesome players but the pressure of being this villain.
