- In this video, my friend Cindy (AKA "Glippie,") talks about how she made some simple, but fun and functional upgrades to her 8 foot kayak - a Sundolphin Aruba ss. She carried this kayak in her camper van - a Sportsmobile - to our most recent camping trip at Doran Beach in Bodega Bay, CA. Hey Deb, thanks for watching and commenting! Cindy is indeed resourceful! We are hoping that some of her ideas might inspire others (including me!) to do their own kayak upgrades. Also, she wanted to remind others that this basic little kayak can turn over and fill up with water in rough seas. From now on, we will both stick to calm lakes, harbors, and rivers. 🤪
