Hey Deb, this was such a fun, spontaneous exploration for me! I've been reading about the winery's history, and it seems there are continued legal and financial issues with the property, so it's been closed for about 5 years with no future plans for it right now. Such an amazing location....it could be turned into something awesome, and hopefully some day it will be. Thanks for watching, and by the way, this was only a few miles from the downtown Sonoma square!

HI Bre, I read that the winery closed after being in operation for over 30 years, and that financial reasons were behind the closure. I remember enjoying their Zinfandel wine years ago....now I wish I would have visited the tasting room on that property at some point. The property is amazing, but yes, such upkeep! Thank you so much Larry! It's fun to learn about this little camera; I just found the manual for it online, too. It does have a wide field of view...I was experimenting with this video, and I am surprised at how easy it is to get the desired shot, despite having no screen to look through! More to learn.... and I'm looking forward to it!

Hi Annette, just watched your Yosemite premier! Beautiful! I have not seen the glass beach in Fort Bragg yet; this one is close to home. Love this wetlands area for hiking when time is of essence, and can't get away for very long. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Yes, I agree about the restoration and reclamation of these lands and waterways. The city turned this into a great recreational spot. They are also generate electricity from the methane gas there....really good use of the old landfill. Thanks for watching, and thanks for the comment on the music! One day I will get an accessory to muffle the wind noise!

HI Lani, I have never seen the glass beach in Ft. Bragg...it's on my list of places to visit. Wetlands Edge Park in American Canyon was indeed a landfill at one time. There is now a plant that generates electricity there; the marshes, wetlands, and trails have been built by the city for all to enjoy. Lots of trails to walk and bike ride...and some folks fish and even put in their kayaks. Thanks for watching and commenting! Hope you are well!
