Thank you for making vegan food videos! There are tons of vegetarian/vegan restaurants in the Happy Cow app and website. It would be appreciated if you could try a couple more places in the future. 🙂
Slurp! Slurp! Slurp! I so wish I could slurp my ramen noodles! You guys are great at slurping, but the total pro-is Niki Niki. She’s awesome! 😋☺️😋 I love that you boys collaborated with Frank, once again. Every single bowl, looked amazing! So much so, that I’ll be having some ramen today. Comfort food for my tummy. Thanks for sharing boys, and YES to Frank and brother Satoshi dancing in the next video! ❤️
Arigato ... for always acknowledge those of us who are plant based, and especially for this piece. I travel with you guys (Frank too), love the cooking classes ... this video gives me ramen shops that meet my eating style.
I know that i am on a different channel, but i want to say something about the "I will always travel for food" channel. I love it! I love this style of shooting. First of all, i find it quite artistic. It also gives me the sense of a virtual reality. What i mean is that it's easier through that kind of videos to be in your shoes and imagine that i am the one who's riding for example a bike in Tokyo. And it's not that i don't like your voice, you make me feel really calm guys but listening just the nature or city sounds is super-relaxing and that's the reason i prefer to watch those videos at night! I am so glad that i find you in the world of youtube! Love from Athens Greece! 💙💙
I went vegetarian last year and i have only had 1 or 2 good vegan ramen so far! Loved how informative it was. My favourite vegan ramen i've had was Budgetbytes Creamy Mushroom Ramen (Google it for the recipe). I recommend SO MUCH 😄🙌
yum. yUM! YUM!!! Thank you for exploring vegan ramen options, guys. Everything looked delicious and now I'm hangry!!! Also, YES to more Fabulous Frank and DANCING!!!!
I'm really happy you gave Soranoiro a shot, most people go to nearby T's Tan Tan to get vegan ramen but Soranoiro is really good. Their veggie soba was delicious and super satisfying, best vegan ramen I had in Tokyo. So happy they added more vegan options to their menu. The bowl you had at the ramen shop in Shibuya looks really tasty too, will definitely give it a try next time I'm in Tokyo. 😋
Thank you for this video. I am so glad that I will be able to eat GF ramen. For years, I have had visions of sitting watching someone else eat ramen because I cannot eat it. Coeliac disease sucks.
7:54 ShinbuSakiya is my favorite Ramen too🍜 😆! I ate it almost every week when I lived in Shibuya!😉 They need to make it in Osaka too...🤔 Anyway it’s highly recommend😁
I absolutely love ramen!!! I love watching your channel!! Thank you for sharing the amazing foods you guys try and sharing your experiences with us!! 😊
omg guys thank you SO MUCH for this! I have celiac disease and I was anxious about visiting Japan because I had no idea if I could actually go out and enjoy some local cuisine. This has re-motivated me to continue learning Japanese and save up money. (I know it's not necssary to speak Japanese to go to Japan, but I really want to be able to read basic Japanese before I go) also I laughed when you said that you admired Frank's slurping technique because I was thinking that to myself as well xD
That's awesome to see gluten free options! My sister in law is allergic to gluten but she loves a good bowl of ramen so it's sometimes hard for her to find a place where she can enjoy it without having to worry unless my brother makes it for her at home from scratch. Usually she ends up eating hers with a rice noodle but I've made her some homemade ramen noodles before using an all purpose gluten free flour and she really liked them because they were much more authentic and paired better with the soup!
Good video. It is alway nice to see Frank. It is good there are options for veggie, vegan and glutenfree. Next time I will try ramen. Thank you for sharing
That looks amazing!! we have Fukuoka style ramen here in Seattle called "Danbo" (which I think originates from Japan also) that offers DELICIOUS Vegan Ramen. So happy to see there seems to be lots of Vegan options in Japan!
EXCELLENT VIDEO! I always thought that Vegan Japanese food was an oxymoron! (At least outside of Koyasan). I wish I knew these options when I was in Tokyo.
I'm excited to hear about a vegan tour!! I am not vegan, but I can be really picky about meat and it's texture (in that I usually don't like it), I don't really enjoy sea flavours, and I can't digest egg white very well (I can eat egg in stuff like cakes, but I can't eat say, fried egg white, or scrambled eggs).
Hi guys! There's actually a council that has been put together to make Tokyo restaurants (as well as food labels in stores) more vegan friendly. They're offering information, as well as funding assistance to get more restaurants involved prior to the 2020 Olympics. That's why we're seeing more of these options lately. Very happy about it! Great video!
Next time you guys come to NYC you have to try the best vegan soba at Cocoron restaurant. It's called mera mera. It's awesome. Ok, excellent video and next time I go to Tokyo I'll try all of your suggestions. Keep it up. Cheers!
I don't know, if it might interest you.. or if you've heard about it before.. BUUUUUT after watching this video, I just couldn't keep silent! In kyoto there's this restaurant called Sujata, and it's run by an elderly woman, who cooks everything herself freshly and by hand (with 4 fire pits on her stove!) . It's a vegan restaurant, and thus it serves vegan Ramen. And honestly, it's the best ramen I've ever had! so if you ever have the possibility to go to Kyoto again , try out "Sujata" it's located near the kyoto university campus, so a bit north of downtown kyoto, but definitely worth it!
This video makes me so happy. I have celiac, which means I have to eat gluten free. And I will be honeymooning in Japan. This video gives me hope for a great trip.
Claudio Marani all I’m saying is that I’m happy they are exploring vegan options. I’m not demanding a vegan takeover 😂 I still watch their videos! I love them! It’s just nice to see
Claudio Marani why are you commenting rude things about vegans under everyones comments? It doesn’t affect you in any way if someone chooses to be vegan.. just don’t watch this video and move on.
I feel like being vegan and trying to dine out in Tokyo must be a real challenge! Maybe down in places like Kyoto there would be more tradition foods without meats due to the influences of Buddhism.
I think even then the Cuisine would still lean towards the pescatarian side. From what I understand Japanese Buddhist Cuisine still used a lot of fish Dashi and stuff like that
Mr satoshi you have a great accent i subscribed this channel for that.
I’m a vegetarian and I’m so happy to see these options!
I would love more collabs with Frank, he has such a pleasant presence! And some dancing also! 😉
Awesome! 🤩 That was a fun tour!
I am not vegan either but I eat everything that is delicious, vegan or not. Thank you for finding these spots!
Frank is the best - great local knowledge and winning personality. would love to see him here regularly.
Thank you for making vegan food videos! There are tons of vegetarian/vegan restaurants in the Happy Cow app and website. It would be appreciated if you could try a couple more places in the future. 🙂

Ohh Shinichi those vegan and gluten free ramen soups look delicious 😋😋😋
I love to eat vegan once a while, variety ist the spice of life. I feel inspired to try these ramen 🤩🍜
I ate the gluten free ramen at soranoiro when I went to Japan!! Loved it!!!

Thank you for doing vegan ramen!! It would be so nice if you guys did vegan sweets too since I know most mochi, daifuku, etc is vegan
This video was very informative. It would be of great help to many people.

All the ramen looked delicious! Can't believe it was Vegan! 😋😋😋
Great to see so many different ramen options nowadays.
very good video and timely for guests coming for Olympics
As a vegan who loves ramen this video is very, very up my alley
Its not ramen its just noodles and water. Real ramen CANT be vegan.
Xcaliber Trekker please look up the definition of ramen. It doesn’t have to have meat to still be ramen.
Hi guys just found your channel a couple of days ago and have been binge watching your videos. Really enjoy them thanks for sharing with us.
I like Frank! It’s always nice to see you guys collab with him. Does he also speak Japanese?
Yes he was born and raised in Japan
That ramen looks really good. I like the different varieties you have. Cheers!
Definitely not vegan but it’s always interesting to see what’s available.
Keep up the good work fellas ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Which one? Are you talking about the noodles? They did do a few that's just gluten free not vegan. :)
