I main the krak-on splat roller and my main issue is not being able to paint my feet reliably when I desperately need it. There are way to many fights I should've on but didn't.
I main TTek Splattershot currently for competitive and was (still kinda am) a Squiffer main since Splatoon 2. I probably struggle the most with backline weapons so Hydra, E-liter, or anything slow. I play aggressively so it's harder for me to want to sit back and not go ham on slaying. Also, if you DO wanna seriously learn squiffer, I'm open to help teach 👀
As a Squiffer veteran (I can’t really say that but I learned to hit my shots very fast and easily), I request you guys to learn with the moving targets on the training room. That sounds like nothing but when you do it regularly it becomes a piece of cake to land shots And don’t forget to jump when charging with a Squiffer
As a tri slosh main currently trying to use sniper? You have to change your mindset. (This is for anyone trying the chargers btw.) Chargers are NOT inking weapons! They are strictly for combat, assisting, and pushing! You want to make sure you get to a spot that's near the middle of the map (or has access to it) and is easily defendable. Most weapons, tri-slosher included, are INKING weapons! They ink the ground and move around a bunch, and are generally a lot better in stuff like turn war. You have to get a lot closer to your enemies, which gives them a bigger hit box, and you have a lot more chances to make up for misses! When it comes to training your aim, I recommend getting to max charge, and following the moving guys with your cross hair, but DO NOT shoot! You'll see that you might be shaking a bunch, or as it's moving, you keep getting locked off of the target. You should be able to get to a point where you are locked on to the target 100% of the time!
Haha, I remember going through this process when I was trying to learn the Explosher during the middle of s2's lifespan. It's definitely a struggle to learn a new weappn, but seeing your improvement is always the most satisfying thing!
This was me when I picked up Z+F bang on (but skip stage 4). As an octobrush main, I don't need aim. Aim is useless. So picking a sniper up hard for me too
My main weapon was the splattershot. But my favorite is definitely the L-3 NozzleNose. The two weapons I started off with were the dualies (Dark Tetra) and the Splat Roller. The hardest weapon I used by far was the Bamboozler. It’s another of my favorites, but damn is it tricky to use sometimes.
Not so long ago in chill season I wanted to find a main weapon. It was a struggle for me in every single game and was always playing 4 to 5 characters/weapons, but I wanted to find a main in splatoon. I tried a lot of things, splash, mini, stamper, stringer, octobrush, range blaster. And I gave up. Then I wanted to farm some sheldon licenses and noticed the huge buff for wiper, didn't think a lot about it then. Went back to playing stamper but the increased paint output on wiper was just soooooo nice. Now I main wiper
This is exactly what happened while I was learning goo tuber. I figured out its quirks and abilities and still failed completely. It’s genuinely so weird to play compared to a splattershot or e-liter
The title of this video could not be more accurate, but at the very least, I can use more weapon types than can't. The weapon types that I struggle with most are chargers, blasters, and Gatling guns. But that's probably because I suck at backlining. I'm a mover and a shaker. I got to be where the action is, And I prefer fast fire rates, which is why I don't like blasters. Yes, I have used the clash blaster
dang I’m early- I think tri slosher is harder to use than people think, your range is so short that you have to learn how to play around that weakness :D Squiffer is also one of the hardest charger to use, at least with splat charger and e-liter you have cover and safety. But with squiffer? Naw, you are a frontline who can’t make too many shots!!! Have fun!!!
To me, I know the heavy splatling like the back of my hand. Its my go to main, Ive been experimenting with other splatlings that i dabbled with in 2 like naught and now hydra bc has my favourite special. During this splatfest, I picked up the custom jet and its really fun! its similar to a splatling which makes it easier to use but doesnt need to worry about charge, just connecting all 4-5 shots before they get too close 😅. The main I struggle with the most is chargers, which ironically was my main in 1, the game pad was easier to use for me and me with a skope elitre was dangerous. But in 2&3, I have a habit of tilting upwards sharply when firing the charger making it very difficult to play with the charger lol, just need to get better 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I actually used to be bad at chargers myself but I've been using the Z+F charger and it's been working well as a beginner.

but rollers were the worst thing invented in 3, i hit so many people and no death!?!?!?!?! In 1 it was so easy just splash and see ya later 😂
