This is what I am talking about about we got this young cat thinking outside the box and bringing affordable boats to the masses where most of us live.. I wish you great success and I look forward to seeing your boats on the water.
I love kayak fishing but at 65 paddling is becoming an issue. I'm using a 13' with a trolling motor. Sitting in a kayak for an extended time is rough. I would love to get a face to face with your Cat. Where or how could that be done. Love your boat, and all the upgrades you've made.
I watched all of the videos and like the concept. Maximizing the deck is definitely a good idea. Im wondering if it might be profitable for you to sell a semi DIY kit such as the deck and pontoons where the customer would be left to do final assembley. I would think shipping would definately be cheaper if it was in pieces too. Wondering how much flex the pontoons create in the center. Almost every budget branded catamaran I have seen had gel coat cracking on the underside from flex.
I am digging it. Did the change in the transom affect HP limit? How big of a motor are some people using that they needed the extra prop space? LOL!! Thanks for the update and I am looking forward to purchasing one in the future. I think it would be a massive hit here in the Panhandle of FL where a lot of inshore and fresh water fishing occurs and a small skiff type boat with great stability and shallow draft are key.
A 9.9 is the perfect motor for it. I made the changes to be on the safe side to hopefully accommodate any motor/ prop people have. I have found that older motors tend to sit closer to the transom while newer engines sit further out and have more room.
Ever think about doing a fold down console like the one in this video or maybe something detachable that would work for either standing or seated driving? th-cam.com/video/PRxfaOh5jdU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aEjDJT5hBnzSQ5KB

Sounds like some good modifications. Way to keep improving your product.

How do these handle rough water? It would be nice to see a video in rough water
Stay tuned. It does very well considering its size. The only tricky area is standing waves at inlets/ channels... as with any boat
How would one of these do with a new 6hp tohatsu outboard
