Obviously this is not the main issue with Colleen but omg imagine laughing at a dead cat that got brutally run over, or any animal in that situation for that matter. How horrible. I saw a stranger's cat get run over by accident and both me and the person in the car were crying and sobbing.
It's scary to see her and that other dude act like that, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were sociopaths. I often see animals, wildlife etc on the highways on my way to work and I hate it, it's incredibly upsetting. I can't understand how someone can joke about it.
right? just what I was thinking. How could you see not only a dead cat, but a cat that's been run over and squashed to the point that it's barely recognisable as a cat, and not be sad? I know everyone has a different reaction to things like shock, fear, grief, etc. but they didn't seem to feel bad at all for that poor animal.
Also, they were saying its name, so either it was an animal they knew personally and they still didn't feel bad, or they'd seen a missing poster perhaps, and either way they didn't seem at all concerned with contacting the owner to tell them they thought they'd found their cat.
You learn a LOT about someone by how they treat animals.
To make it even worse it was her friends cat. Imagine going online and seeing your "friend" laughing at your dead pets corpse.
That was horrifying and the fact that it was her friend's cat and filming ,uploading it ughhh how do people support such people
It's wild how many people are blaming actual freaking children for what an adult did to them. Shes the adult in the situation. Let's not forget all the damn adults that had to be in the audience just laughing at this crap.

@melissagoode151 oh I totally agree, I think it has a lot to do with ageism against the younger generation. It’s a pattern through history that generations think they’re so much better than the ones after them or before them. Things like the demonization of progressing as a society by a lot of people, things that a lot of young people care about like climate change and rights for minorities/marginalized people, all seen as ‘the woke snowflakes with their vegetarianism/veganism and pronouns and safe spaces’, it’s all a very strange mindset but it makes sense. Young people are easy to blame for problems, the media and politicians do it all the time. It happened to gen X, millennials (still does), and now it’s gen Z
The cat part…how do you laugh and record that? And just walk away? Like it’s a joke? Seeing something similar on my way to work causes me to cry. It’s just another example of cruelty on her part.

I almost ran over a well-loved chipmunk at my workplace (I worked for a daycare surrounded by nature and woods) and even though I didn’t hit it I was SOBBING in my car for almost hitting it. How can they just laugh at their friend’s dead cat?
Yea, I get sad when I see dead birds or lizards on the path I walk home on and they didnt even get run over, just naturally died. I cannot imagine seeing a cat that's been run over and behaving the way she did

As a mother I completely agree. I don't have social media anymore, aside from youtube. But I always felt very odd whenever I would come across family vlogs. The whole thing about Daddy o Five, and a few other channels that got exposed for child abuse definitely left a bad taste in my mind. That's also how I feel about people filming their child during tantrums or meltdowns. Like that child needs security and understanding. I'm on the autism spectrum as well as my kids, I cannot imagine how it would feel to grow up and have the world witnessing a very vulnerable moment for laughs.
while i mostly agree with this comment, i think that a person can be a mommy blogger ethically - as long as it is EXCLUSIVELY about her own personal interactions and experiences and feelings, with absolutely zero footage of her children or staged content. the point though is that this is describes what, 1 in every 50,000 mommy bloggers.
there's nothing wrong with someone publicly journalling their experience. it's when the kids are included in the journal that it becomes a problem.
@@parkyercarcass yes, I excluded this exception but I agree. Journaling one's experience with motherhood is a great resource. I've seen 2-3 EVER of the type you describe but I completely agree there is an ethical way to do it... That barely anyone does.
Well it wouldnt give as much viewers and money as showing your kids, I agree that would be the ethical way. Though I think some of the family vloggers who show their kids are more exploitative, one I really dislike is fathering autism, they have shown meltdowns, potty träning use their fans for their mlm business and then she is fullt uncapable of consent or being able to enjoy all the money they exploit her for. Now I think she is 18 too so they're exploiting a vulnerable adult.

My sister was a “fan” of hers when she was 13. Then she turned 14 and stopped watching Colleen. That should tell you what audience she’s targeting for her own sick purposes.

Kodee didn't just silence Adam, she also enabled Colleen to continue her predatory behavior because she made the one person that could have exposed her actions and give warnings appear as simply a disgruntled fan.
And she was a grown adult at that time as well! She was right there with Colleen doing similar things. So vile

Keep in mind though, they were manipulated much in the same way Adam was. Shit flinging was normalised within the fandom and encouraged by Colleen and Cory. Adam and Kodee were both guilty of it at one point, but they shouldn't be chastised for being victims of manipulation.

@@dandelion_official4812 Yeah you know, since writing my original comment, I've gotten some more information on the whole Kodee situation and yeah, it's not looking good. It seems that they were lying about their motivations for making the video, they sat on information that could have cleared Adam for years, and came out with it without communicating anything to him. Not to mention that I've seen the original video Kodee made to invalidate Adam. It all seems very manipulative and self-centered on Kodee's part.
Looking back it’s really disheartening to think about how everyone collectively dismissed and attacked a 15 year old boy over a 20/30 year old predatory woman…
I hope her victims have some peace knowing this is all finally coming to light.

To be real, she’ll probably face tons of backlash from all allegations and be faded to obscurity on the internet. The only way a court case or jail time would be involved for her is if she has exchanged or has inappropriate pictures of ANY of the victims. Whether it be on her devices, or exchanged photos with her family members or close friends she works alongside. Another case would be the money laundering or withholding of donations for charities she’s sponsored. No receipts of money given to the charity she does, will be damming to her publicly, and is more of the type of crime the court system would try colleen.
Anyone would want her in jail but that unfortunately isn’t the reality, especially online drama. Unless it goes towards real repercussions. Police or courts can’t be involved unless anything happens. Which in turn, police has got involved already because fans of Colleen so far, has doxed Adam’s few addresses. 😬 The silence from her, says she must be doing legal action behind the scenes. Colleen Ballinger has been "crossing the line" for more than a decade but youtube has consistently protected her. TH-cam turned a blind eye while Colleen creeped on minors for years. There is something seriously twisted about that woman and it's long past time that she was forced to take accountability for her actions. She has no business having a platform with which to abuse children.
I think we should all go and report her channels honestly...she should not be allowed to have anything monetized.

You know what is a good litmus test to gauge whether or not what she has done around children is inappropriate?
Just think of all the actions that she has done and apply "If she was a guy, and all of this resurface, what would people do?" and instantly you'll see people turning their heads.
I always found her obnoxious, and that there was something a bit off about her. So, when this controversy dropped, I was disappointed but not surprised. A lot of public figures, especially content creators, can have issues with establishing appropriate boundaries with their fans. Here's hoping lessons are learned from this.

I can't give any Mommy Vlogger or family vlogger a chance. As soon as your can't even speak child is your cash cow, you've lost your parental rights in my opinion. You've shown what you care about and it's not the well being of children. I know someone who won't put a photo of her kids faces up on her Private Account unless THEY give permission. This meant she didn't post any pictures until the kids were at least 5 and could be asked. That shouldn't be weird, it should be a base standard.

This is aberrant behavior and, in my opinion, should have criminal consequences if it all turns out to be true. Here a woman surrounds herself with children and writes "strange" things - things for which one would imprison others, because this looks to me - and obviously not only to me - like more than just "inappropriate behavior". We should not and would not accept such things, neither in a man nor in a woman. I feel sick and sorry for the victims. I have to talk about victims, because that's all it is in my opinion.

I’m asking the same things. From an outsider looking in but saw the Shane Dawson stuff, Colleen is gonna probably face the same backlash, but no police matter.
She is still on both points. But also even if she wasn't we should still say when things from the past are wrong because people will continue to use those things to justify bad behavior in the present

I pretty much stopped watching after that.

I actually remember watching Adam's video back in 2020, and, at the time, I was a very frequent watcher of Colleen's content, and honestly i remember finishing that video and just stopped supporting her entirely, and quite honestly i forgot she was still on the internet up until more people came out to talk about their experiences with her, its absolutely sickening that she took advantage of her underaged fans, and my heart goes out to all her victims.

Colleen has sociopath eyes. Idk how to describe it but it isn't even crazy eyes. Her eyes tell the story of someone who doesn't care about anyone. Who would do anything she wants to however she wants regardless of how they feel. She has only skirted the line enough to not be arrested, something all sociopaths and narcissists do to a pathological degree. She isn't going to ever stop her antics and will never accept accountability or even acknowledge wrongdoing. She will never change.
Just a general open question. Firstly, I'll say I do not condone or agree with her behavior with children in shows and in group chats. She may not have seen it as weird then, but it is. Here's the question... what do we think should happen now? Should she be put to death? Should she be in prison? Should she have all of her money taken away? Should she have her children taken away? Should she lose her career and work a regular 9-5?
We have a prison system for criminals in hopes they can be reformed and released back into society. At what point do we stone online personalities for their wrongdoings and then allow them to truly exist in the real world again? It's easy to acknowledge the problem, but what do we think the solution is? Should she have a public apology again, we all know people will just say it's to cover her ass. Got it. If she stays silent and doesn't work online again, people will say she's hiding. WHAT is the solution? What will satisfy the general public? Dead ass question.

Oh yes, it seems as what she did to her dog is a sad memory for her, sure...she is an absolute psycho. It worries me this person is a mother, and also has 2 cats.
