    Unpopular opinion, but I prefer to keep whatever playing on even if I take an earbud out so auto play/pause is kinda irrelevant to me. I can see why its an issue for some people tho

      Yeah, being able to tap the side of the bud to pause/play makes it kind of redundant to me to be honest.

    Great review. The auto stop play isn't an issue for me. I wear one ear bud at a time on my older buds while at work or around the house because it is more comfortable long term for me. I only use 2 buds while on a plane, bus or while walking.

  • @johnroberto

    I've had them for 5 days now and tbh the auto pause isn't really a big deal. A simple tap then remove and you're good. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • @mjnick213
    @mjnick213 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Hi, thank you for the video. I don't really understand, why you empathise the autopause that much. For me it is the correct setting, that if you remove one bud, that they continue to play and just pause, if you remove both. If you want them to stop in case you just remove one bud, just make a single tap before removing and then it stops.
    To me it would be more important to have a 'does not stop automatically'-setting in voice detect and that you could choose if the music stops completely or continues at lower volume in voice detect

    They are extremly sensitive to wind. The person you are talking to, won't be able to hear you ok. I really struggled with this issue. I mean, it wasn't extremly windy, however, my friend was constantly complaining that she can't hear me.

  • @user-nt4wc7ix7j
    @user-nt4wc7ix7j ปีที่แล้ว +25

    Love mine, leagues better than my airpod pros. Sound is better, no question. ANC cancels the low spectrum incredibly well, the rest is cancelled well so that when listening to music i can't hear it, with the added feature of not making me feel like I'm in a pressure chamber. The ambient mode is what I use the most and is very natural, it doesn't sound like I'm listening through mics and I can't hear the fan from across the room like it's next to me. To me this is a huge negative for the airpod pros. Best of all, can actually wear these all day and they don't hurt my ears. They are quite comfortable.
    I wouldn't use the auto pause/play you mentioned as when I take a bud out its usually to speak with someone and I want to keep the music going, if I didn't I would just pause it and speak to them without removing, but I hope they add it. Android should be all about options and the more the better!

    I absolutely love mine. The best as far as sound quality and I've used Bose and Sonys top of the line earbuds. These blow them away. They are loud and when you turn up the volume, ZERO distortion. Bose actually got louder but the sound was severely distorted, and Sony just didn't get loud enough for me. However, the one thing about the Buds Pro 2 that is a bit of a disappointment is the ANC. It's decent but not great at all. And even though I don't really care for ambient sound, it's not that good on these earbuds. It's way better on the Sony XM4s. But overall, if we're just talking sound quality? I've never used earbuds which were better. In fact, I think the sound quality on this is even better than my Bose 700s. Yes I said it. Lol

    I will tell you what I think ... in terms of sound, they sound great, compared to other high-high-end brands and models.
    In terms of look and feel - really good, they fit pretty well, I don't have the feeling they are about to drop out of my ear, like other high-high-end brands and models...
    You can do everything from the earbuds, stop/start, next/previous song, and the noise cancel options... The volume control is weird! Initially, I thought there is no volume control which was absurd ... I found the option hidden in the settings and turned it on, and you need to double-tap your actual ear - left to decrease and right to increase. That is usable, it works surprisingly well, ...
    In terms of controls, IconX is still the best earbuds I've ever tried. I just really hope they make a newer model.

      Personally I've got a pair of galaxy buds live and galaxy buds 2 pro and I swap them out to charge the other so I'm never not able to listen but they definitely need to improve for future models even tho nobody should have them in for 5 hours straight without taking a break to charge and let your ears rest a bit but I would like the ability to listen for 9 hrs even if I shouldn't lol

    I have had my Samsung S23 Ultra just over a week now and looking for some wireless ear buds (I upgraded from a note 8 and still used my wired earphones. My question is could they address the auto pause issue with an update or would it only come out in the next release. On that note when would you expect the next release to come out. How long have the Galaxy Buds Pros 2 been out?

      The Buds 2 Pro were released on August 26 2022 and the Galaxy Buds 2 on August 11 2021, but the Buds Pro came out on January 14 2021 so if they announce a new one It’s probably gonna be in August since they didn’t released an earbuds this February (at the Unpacked event). I hope this help.

    Sound and featuree wise i personally love them but everyone is saying that it's the best fit ever but it's been horrible and stressful for me. The larger ones fits "ok" and the even app says it's a good fit but i have this constant feeling it's gonna fall off my ear. Especially if i am chewing or laughing, it does fall off. Really struggling to get this right.

Most of the ear buds used to be pretty beefy so they were just something i couldn't wear all the time. I'm a beats guy myself. I always felt they were the best earphones for my type music. I love some of all music but rap is my favorite. so bass heavy sounds are perfect for me. now I haven't had any Samsung buds before. the earlier models seem to have not fit everyone's ears I'm hearing people say they would just fall out. so I was kinda worried. but I went and got the buds pro 2. to use woth my s22 ultra. and beats have finally been beat imo. these are so comfortable as well. these are the first buds that I can truly wear all day and forget there even in my ears fr. the sound is loud and bass heavy and perfect imo. there's also a EQ setting to change your preferences. but either way these buds are the best earbuds I've ever had. and I had the beats powerbeats 2 3 and then the powerbeats pro. and I honestly think these pro bud 2s are better. and cheaper the powerbeats pro are. now 219$ was what I paid for mine. and that's a little expensive imo
    but most all earbuds fr apple etc are 200 plus dollars. so the price isn't to bad imo. now the only thing I don't like is that. they seem to only last me about 4hrs and 4 hrs when I'm just using them for watching videos etc vs music. but 4/5 hrs isn't much different from other flag ship earbuds. now the ANC is same quality as apples etc but when it comes to ambient setting its the best I've heard from any earbud. and being able to make ambient come on when it hears your voice is a great setting. so when someone talks to you and you respond the ambient turns on and makes ot easy to heat them. the you can change how long ambient stays on for. so once your done talking for 5 secs or more the ambient turns off and back to the full volume you had it set to.

    I've been using them pretty hard for a day now. If the music not auto stopping is a deal breaker for you then you need to think back 10 years ago..... wired earbuds, poor audio quality, and the wireless headphones that did exist were horrible. I'm pretty satisfied with walking around like the party is inside my head without even noticing I have earbuds in my ears.
