The neighbors were about to call the police because some crazy man in my neighborhood was going crazy in his car trying to reattach the mirror without any assistance. Fortunately, I broke open my emergency supply of vodka, relaxed and waited until morning!!!! Thank you again. PS - For my next comment, I will describe how I used tire tube sealant on the airmatic based on a Russian Mercedes club post in which two guys are joking like crazy about the same mistake.
@@julius500 thank! Even I took liberties. Here in North America we drink whiskey from Tennessee or Kentucky. But the vodka part was a hats off to the truest part... tire sealant.
There is a trick to install the mirror. Using hammer to force in does not work. Use a small C clamp to compress the spring through the pins. Then use two nails as shims to prohibit the pins to bounce back. Pull the pins out when mirror is in position.

9:27 that litle hole in center has also one bulb. Shame it's not a regular bulb that you can change easily. Litle modification and solder, you can mount LED-bulb to it's place, working fine on my car..
Great videos, very helpful. For the door logo shadow lights for W211, do we have to remove the entire door pad and do we have to resolder the ribbon co doctor to the electrical contacts? Thank you for your advice.
