I enjoyed this immensely. I loved it when you said you had immediate answers. 😊
These fun little ideas of mine stay with me for so long. And I find that I'll keep going back to change some of the answers, but SOME will stay the same foooorever. 😅
I literally felt it when you said "I'm dead, leave me alone. 😂

I'd totally hang out with a strange ridiculous person who has crow feathers in their purse any day! I find the cool touch of a palm stone/crystal to be a very sensory pleasing thing as well. Love these wonderfully chatty videos from you 😊

The History of Goth?! Putting that on my list now. I have a goth lit book tag starting in November but somehow this book evaded me. Cold palm stones are what dreams are made of. Love this video!

It has only just been published! It's not an academic work but, as he put it, it traces the history of goth from the fall of rome and the middle ages through the 19th century romantics up to the 'end' of punk/post-punk... and then he launches into interviews and chapters dedicated to different groups. In his talk he was so amazing at conveying the makeup of the music through multimedia sensory experiences (words relating to colour, brush strokes, fabric, texture, mood & weather) and, of course, sartorial style as well... Really showing not only *that* the music was at the core but also why and how that mattered and manifested in the ensuing subculture. It was magickal!
