@@ReidStefanMusic awesome!! So could i still use my uad plugins with this device to still run on its dsp? Or do they make there own plugins?
I was thinking this thing would be 1k…I was wrong
the mkii version gonna need a more responsive screen methinks.
I am wondering which have better sound?? apogee symphony desktop or Neumann???does anybody know?
The Neumann MT 48 has the better sound. Specs on paper also indicate that
is there a sleep mode or screen saver on it?
No it just displays whatever page you leave it on
“It blows everything out of the water….but RME*”
There is no "but RME". Neumann MT 48 and RME Digiface AES are both 2000$/€ interfaces. MT 48 has better dynamic range, better gain range, better signal to noise ratio, ridiculously better output impedances and so on.. RME can't compete. Even tho RME is already pretty good. But Neumann/MT did it better
@@Neekzu ADI-Pro SE uses ESS 9038 and MT48 uses ESS 9026 😳 which is an old converter - less resolving
Also Neumann is simply taking what Merging already had and improve it a little bit. This interface is 90% thanks to Merging Technologies not Neumann on its own 😊
@@joseluishernandezseptien ADI-Pro SE is a digital converter not an audio interface.. so? "Also Neumann is simply.. bla bla" so what? What's the arguement there?
Still no ".. but RME" lol 😊😳
@@Neekzu I think you have not even looked at the RME ADI-2/4 Pro SE and confused it with the digital interface RME ADI-2 DAC. But it is ok. You can go on with your life and have a nice day :)
Can I use it live?
Yes
If they wana set a Standard when it comes to Interfaces they gotta try to Compete with Focusrite or UAD 😂 😂 Good luck
But it is…Neumanns logo on an Anubis.
They updated the Anubis with USB-C connectivity, improved power supply, and a few other modernizations beyond just the logo
Sooo UAD goes bye bye?
UAD Apollo has lower sound quality in the conversion and preamps. But UAD offer more DSP plugins to purchase than Neumann
Ох кайф, выглядит очень хорошо, стоит дорого)
Lynx Hilo did a very similar touch screen first
You'll never keep up with interfaces, converters and other digital junk, that's why I still use my Tascam 688 cassette, Ensoniq ASR-10 and my old nasty sounding Joe Meek twin Q channel strip...It just sounds better to me...
Neve 88M preamp sounds better than that interface in my opinion, I compared it. Neumann sounds good and clean, but the Neve 88M sounds big and fat.
😍😍😍😍
Thats the MERGING AUDIO ANUBIS Interface recoloured and with a NEUMANN stamp on it. 🤷♂🤷♂
They added a few new features, but essentially you’re correct
How Much??
1,800
@@dereklapharaoh7838 oof, my wallet
@@fejisticgames honestly I don’t think it’s worth the price you’re only buying into the nuemann name
@@dereklapharaoh7838Not that long ago they said $1500 which was high but 1800 after taxes is close to 2k
@@emyhR facts
Hi bro! I'm wondering about what you said at [1:48] "you can by-pass those internal preamps by just using the quarter-inch jack instead of the XLR jack". Are you sure of that?
I recently watched a video where a guy said [7:54] "It is not possible to by-pass the internal pre-amps regardless of which input you use". th-cam.com/video/lCHkijaj5SI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=S1gJqtWCxd1q4VSC
Who is correct? one cannot have a signal with the pre-amps by-passed?
Let me know your thoughts. Thank you.
greetings from Spain and congratulations on the channel!!!🎉
very good interface. but it has the same problem as the anubis. they are very very difficult to use because of their complexity. they are unintuitive and require a steep learning curve. and as the saying goes, time is gold !!!😂😂
I didn’t read any manuals or watch tutorials videos before using it, and I had no confusion anywhere along the way 🤷🏼♂️
will have to try then👍🏻✌🏻🎧
Can you disclose next time if review is sponsored, since this really smells like an ad.
It’s an ad, and it has already been disclosed as you can see by the paid promotion badge
rebranded Anubis ;)
The screen lag looks terrible though.
Lots of cumbersome menu diving and a slow touch screen. Go rme
I don't think you can bypass the preamps. I asked.
You can’t if you’re using an XLR cable, but if you Connect a line level source using the quarter inch part of the combo jack it bypasses the built-in preamps and only uses the converters and DSP
@@ReidStefanMusic I am pretty sure that is wrong. Another popular video on youtube tested it and I asked them. No PreAmp skipping.
Godtier product.
Why gloves? Oh…never mind.
The flattering Is a bit too much. You Lost me when you talk about responsive touch screen and screen take 200ms ti select a band of the eq. So i must questioni, this Is a biased review by the fact they gift the audio card for free in charge of a review?
2000😂😂😂
First
Uad better
Yes UAD has more DSP effects, but the mic preamps, converters, input and output sound quality is better on Neumann. Also neumann preamps have 2x more gain available for needy dynamic mics like SM7B
@@ReidStefanMusic Not to mention the Headphone Amps where better quality means a better mix/master as well...Neumann knocked it out of the ballpark by bringing a better design to MT!
This is the same as every new interface review ever made. Blah blah blah
Sounds very paid and scripted
I’ll just stick to SSL
me thinking he'd say the price is not more than $100 🥲, this is not for us.
