I've always found cruises a great time to introduce my kids to new food when they were younger. There is lots of new stuff and because they were excited they are more likely to be willing to try things.
Disney does breakfast too - the menu is in the desk drawer. It’s free for continental breakfast but an up charge for like their more full breakfast. You have to fill out your menu and hang it on your door, I think by midnight. You indicate the timeframe for delivery and it will be there. That’s one of my favorite things to do and can avoid the crowds. We’ve started our cruising with Disney when our son was 10 - which was 20 years ago. Now we still cruise Disney just the two of us. You absolutely don’t need kids to have a fantastic time.
Great info on DCL room service! I haven't looked on the app for the breakfast menu, but there is usually one in the desk drawer to complete and hang on the door knob by a certain time - I think it's before 3 AM.
Thank you for this video. I enjoy that you showed the whole process as well as feedback. I am going on my first Disney cruise next year and will be ordering room service.
That’s really thoughtful Disney is so considerate with allergies!!! I like that fridge too, and Mickey bars too! Was buffalo wings an extra charge like other ships? Yummy choices too! Thanks for sharing
Thank you for sharing the feedback on the free room services. I love the idea of stocking up on the Mickey bars. That would be neat to have a breakfast room service menu. Great video!
Thanks for watching! So it does seem like they have a breakfast room service menu- I’m guessing it just wasn’t available for our sailing! We’ll be sure to check out the breakfast menu next time!
Did you ever do a Disney cruise review? We just did our first one end of May. Interested on what you guys thought and would you do another. We loved it but it was 1 and done at the cost for fanily of 5, but wonderful memories. My sister and I however will do one from New Orleans in a year. I want the adult only experience
Hey there. No I didn’t do a complete review, but I can tell you that we would never cruise Disney as a family unless it was under a deeply discounted travel agent rate (or we get sponsored). The value wasn’t there for me. Food was good. Entertainment was good but the only real fun I had was watching the kids have fun.
That is correct, all of the food items in room service are complimentary. And of course- you don’t have to tip- but it’s customary! We thought all of the room service food was great!
I actually thought the room service cheeseburger was really good. The ones on the pool deck tend to be cold with cold buns, whereas the one from room service all the components were at a better temp.
@@MHFamilyAdventures thank you. We’ve just booked our first ever cruise for next year. No idea what we doing lol. Just a three night short one see if we like it

I totally agree!
What’s your fave room service item to order? We loved the Mickey Bars & buffalo wings the most!!!

Thank you for this info! We will definitely check in the drawer next time!
Great video! I was your video that made me book the celebration. I went for my birthday a few weeks ago and had a blast. Thank you ❤

@@MHFamilyAdventures agree! Lol 😂
It’s a hefty price. We were glad to check it off
Thanks for the info this is a nice room service menu especially with everything being included
Yes we loved it!
Those chicken tenders are the best ever.
They really are!

I've loved the steak panini
Yes it was so good!
Just to confirm, Room service is complimentary, but you just have to tip?
That is correct, all of the food items in room service are complimentary. And of course- you don’t have to tip- but it’s customary! We thought all of the room service food was great!
@@MHFamilyAdventures thank you! 🙏🏾 I’ve been casually looking for this answer for a while now
I actually thought the room service cheeseburger was really good. The ones on the pool deck tend to be cold with cold buns, whereas the one from room service all the components were at a better temp.
I can definitely see that. I noticed that about the chicken tenders and fries. They were hot from room service but cold on the deck.
Oh my goodness. My hubby and kids devoured the buffalo wings. He would get them every night. 😬
Yes Dice got them everyday! They were pretty good!
How much do you tip? Do they bring it into the room or just knock and leave it outside 🤔
They bring it in to the room. I usually tip $1 per plate.
@@MHFamilyAdventures thank you. We’ve just booked our first ever cruise for next year. No idea what we doing lol. Just a three night short one see if we like it
How much do you tip?
For room service I typically tip $1-2 per plate- especially when the service & food is free of charge.
how much do you recommend tipping?
I tipped $1 per plate.
