In this fight both users have a type of Mystic Eye, in the case of Asagami she can bent anything, its not explicit say in which way seems like a compresion due to gravity or space.

I'm beginning to think Kara no Kyoukai has the most tragic villains ever. I was actually rooting for Fujino Asagami on this episode and was crushed when she got beaten. So sad :(

check wiki. If memory serves, the lines represent how to deconstruct something/someone. Something that affects the origin/existence of the object/person. You don't even have to cut the line, just trace it and you can unmake/unseam something/someone.

@ComradeMagnum Point is, Archer and Satsujinki are not "strong". They are "skilled". They have one little talent they really know how to use. ORT, Arcueid and Zelretch all have enormous raw power(so does Aoko,technically). Kishima Kouma is as strong as a servant, there is no way Satsujinki is around that level. But if they fought, it would be a close match. Doesn't mean, per se, that Satsujinki is as strong as Kishima

Actually the funny thing is, while Shiki is referred to as a "shinigami", Nasu actually derived her name from "shikigami".

actually, shinigami is god of death. Shikigamis are artificial familiars used by magicians. ^^
her eyes can see the concept of death by focusing more she can see the origin of things.
@Yuna425 The other Shiki gets a nickname as Satsujinki, murderer. With the 'ki' in satsujinki replaced with the 'ki' in Shiki.
