Hello from Thailand, great video, the good, the bad & the ugly. You guys showed it all. That's what makes motorcycling so exciting. Looking forward for the next video.
You're right, those views never get boring. Hard work sometimes by the look of it but well worth tge effort. Looking forward to seeing the water fall. ❤
Thanks for watching our video, we hope you enjoyed it! We did the Ha Giang in November, the weather was good, cold in the evenings in though and when we made our way to Cao Bang it got really cold and rainy but we think February would be a beautiful time to go, but just double check online on forums and blogs etc, hope you have a great time, we are sure you’ll love it! Are you heading anywhere else in Vietnam?? 🤩
@@enjoy-the-road Just got back home, been at North and Middle Vietnam for 23 days. Weather before 20 days was rainy, and we postponed Ha Giang loop for 4-5 days and spent time in Ninh Binh - Tam Coc village until weather on Ha Giang loop got stabilized. Did 4 day tour with Jasmine agency for Ha Giang loop, 1st day was cloud&small rain, 2nd and 3rd day fully sunny and 4th day was rain, was intermediate ride really.
Just got back home, been at North and Middle Vietnam for 23 days. Did 4 day tour with Jasmine agency for Ha Giang loop, was intermediate ride really. I rode motorbike without international motorbike license, and Jasmine guys have driven us through one police checkpoint, and though other checkpoint I've driven and police did not stop us. There are 7 police checkpoints on Ha Giang loop, but only on 2 checkpoints they have been this time when I went. I'm currently going on driving license for motorbike and I drive motorbike good, just need to pass test (had no time), but if you're not too good driver consider having a rider who will ride you through Ha Giang (Jasmine agency offers it).
Thanks for watching! We hope you have the most amazing time, we had 2 police stops but no problems as we had the correct international drivers license for Vietnam, just to be safe and save yourself money make sure you have this, it’s super easy and only cost us like £3.50! People who didn’t have the correct license got fined (not sure how much, but it was quite high, and imagine getting stopped multiple times, it’ll cost you!) We hired our bike from style motorbike in Hanoi and drove around northern Vietnam for 3 weeks, you can watch our previous videos to see what we got up too 🤩 but if your not confident driving a motorbike yourself, as long as you make your way up to Ha Giang you can do an easy riders tour, you can find these everywhere x
@jimmysworld3093 @theemmaandreecediaries Fine for not having International motorbike license is 3 milion (3 000 000) Vietnam Dong (vnđ). You can still try talk to officer and get a discount for a fine if you get lucky.
