Hi there, Really nice post and blog. Thanks a lot! It's working nice except one thing. I have a product wich is on a collection. If i enter to the collection I have a button with an express order where I can select the customize fields. Here it´s not working the required file upload field. However, if I select the custom fields on the product page it´s working the upload field as a requirement. So, I havve a product with a requiered image file field and it´s working on the product page but not working on the checkout button collection page. PD: Sorry for my English level... Hope you understand my question and could help me.
I was about to post that this wont work. But then I decided to try it. wow it actually works (latest dawn version). Ok so, it generates a random file name. Also, wish I could figure out how to do multiple file uploads. But anyway thanks for the info.
Where in the code do I place the condition? Can you do a tutorial on this step? I know a lot of people that would benefit from it. Thank you for all your help.
I wish you could make a tutorial on how to add a dropdown menu to free themes footer. The footer is natively so poor and doesn´t allow too much info without became a huge footer...
If anyone has shipped this to productions, just a heads up, it seems that the "Buy Now" submits the form via JavaScript and the uploaded image will appear with an unusable URL starting with C:\fakepath Any ideas on how to fix it?
Hi Thanks for the nice video. Does it show you the uplouded file also if you dont edit the code for the e-mail? i think they have a new code for the emails so the tutorial doesen´t work on this part.
In the theme customizer, click "Home Page" at the top, then "Product," and then "create template." Name it something like "Custom Product." Add the code block to this new template. Now, go to the products you want to have the file upload and change the theme template (at the bottom of the page) to the new template.

This is a great tutorial. I just have one questions, what do I do if I want to add the upload file to specific products and not all of my products?
You can create a new template or add {% if product.title contains "productname" %} condition

No we can't upload multiple files with 1 field. And yes this field will be visible on all products
