if Vinny follows through with the idea of having a "guided" multiplayer playthrough with other people, I can't recommend enough that you get Bikdiponabus for it. Dude knows the game inside out and was my main source of information for it when I wanted to make a map of the game only to find out he had a complete sheet with every single location and star in the game at that point lol. Think he's been around in the chat on some of the other B3313 Vinny streams so I think he'd be up for it as well
Having a "guided tour" like that would be an good opportunity to have a stream with the same aura and insanity as Vinny's Worlds exploration stream from 12 years ago. That was probably my favourite stream ever.

I find it amazing how in all six B3313 videos Vinny has made spread out across three years he still somehow managed to fit the "crawl like a baby" line into each one.
The yellow stars are the main game (or mod) star counter, the red stars are the ones you've collected only in the run you're currently playing, the green stars are the total amount of stars no matter what mod you are playing or have played. Great video guys! 👍
That discussion at the end about being compared to other content creators was weirdly inspiring. On my main channel I had a video get 200k+ views, and half the comments called me "great value NakeyJakey". People still liked the video but idk I basically quit uploading because I didn't want to be a leech or something. That discussion has made me feel genuinely interested in making videos again for the first time in a while, so thanks if any of you guys see this lol.
I feel like people say that kind of stuff as a compliment. If they wanted it to be a criticism they'd say "nakeyjakey ripoff". To me a comment like that is "oh this reminds me of this creator i enjoy, but with less polish", which is a great place to be! Even if your content can seem derivative (I haven't watched your videos yet so I don't know if it is), you will develop your own flavor as you keep making more stuff.

Tbh you could theoretically get b3313 working on console, one of the main things preventing that is the complete lack of culling, multiple rooms will be loaded at once, regardless of how many there are.
Not quite the same, but Kaze updated Star Road to run on console. Forever ago the dev was also recreating it for 64 DS. Don't know if it's still being worked on.

Chat, does anyone know how to get the character voices working in this? I've tried with regular sm64ex-coop and sm64coopdx but every character still just has the shitty "beta" mario voices from B3313 lol. I can still switch to Toad, Wario, etc but they just use the same voice lines. I need BUP. I've tried using the character select mod but that only adds Toadette by default, and I didn't see any extra character packs or anything on Vinny's setup in the video.
I've never actually seen that final section at all and i've been playing 3313 for a couple years now, I know a lot of people would think it's dogshit if this is what we got in 1996, but I would never stop playing this game if this was the version we got back then.
It seems like some weird hybrid of 0.7 and 0.9. Like, most warp destinations, area designs, and many of the mechanics seem to line up mostly with 0.7 (I.E. Vanilla Lobby has stairs, death in a course warps to Plexal Lobby from the get-go), and several details are distinctly pre-0.9 (I.E. no painting ripples, no postgame, "distant screams" Toad). However, it obviously has post-0.9 elements (I.E. Star varieties, Red Star-based progression), and has some areas that weren't present back in 0.7.
Ok this is really funny cause about a month ago now me and friend started doing B3313 multiplayer together. Real odd that this is happening not long after we said we would take a brake from it.

I've never actually seen that final section at all and i've been playing 3313 for a couple years now, I know a lot of people would think it's dogshit if this is what we got in 1996, but I would never stop playing this game if this was the version we got back then.
What version of B3313 is being played in this stream?

It seems like some weird hybrid of 0.7 and 0.9.
Like, most warp destinations, area designs, and many of the mechanics seem to line up mostly with 0.7 (I.E. Vanilla Lobby has stairs, death in a course warps to Plexal Lobby from the get-go), and several details are distinctly pre-0.9 (I.E. no painting ripples, no postgame, "distant screams" Toad). However, it obviously has post-0.9 elements (I.E. Star varieties, Red Star-based progression), and has some areas that weren't present back in 0.7.
Ok this is really funny cause about a month ago now me and friend started doing B3313 multiplayer together. Real odd that this is happening not long after we said we would take a brake from it.
