Here's the actual end result of the Marshon Lattimore trade:
Commanders gave up Dotson and Ridgeway and moved down from their 4th round pick (expected at the very end of the round) to the Saint's 5th pick (expected to be close to the very top of the round), so a net effect of only dropping down 5 to 8 picks.
Also, the Commanders used their own 3rd round pick in the trade, but kept their Miami 3rd round pick from the Dotson deal (expected to be in the top 10 picks in the 3rd round), so the net effect is moving up in the 3rd round by 20+ picks.
In anybody's book, that HAS to be considered a killer deal!
I give up Dotson, Ridgeway, move down 8 picks in the mid-round picks and up at least 20 in the 3rd round AND get Marshon Lattimore?!?! HA HA HA! HAIL YEAH!

i think 25 is number 4 corner on the roster behind lattimore, sandatril, noah, then st juice. most good team has two good wrs so if st juice is number 2 then they he will still get cooked
Commanders D coaches spending a lot of time trying to cover for BSJ, now they can concentrate on run. Lattimore is a shutdown corner, so now we trying to fix CB2. Lots of choices, keep Sainristil at wideout, or move inside and Iggy can be CB2. I don't see BSJ as anything but a 4. Now we can move a S in the box against the run. The QB has to go through progressions, more sacks, more flush the pocket, more incompletes, maybe INTs. We still have to see if he is healthy, and how long to mesh with defense, but if they are playing man, he can probably go right in now.
