Adrian is my favorite Mei Leaf side character. Please keep him on staff forever and frequently in your videos. Always brings lots of joy
Thank you Don and thank to everyone of your team! You are doing a great job including perfect customer care. You are making a world more colourful and enjoyable. Celine artworks are amazing. The great tastes, aromas and different energizing experiences which can be found in your teas are just the next level, mainly because of your slelction. I wish you all health and wealth in every way, huge portion of a good luck (also in tea sourcing) and love in the year 2025. Stay great!
Greetings from the Czech Republic.
I was enjoying the Candy Ice Cruncher while watching the video. Excellent tea - we need more of the teas like this.
Sam guessing the blend is Adrian’s! So funny. Loving this episode. The ML team’s personalities really shining forth in this video ❤❤❤❤
Don playing Papa 😂🫖🦋
Excellent! So entertaining as well as inspiring. The funniest thing is Moana's tasting as it is fabulous and cracked me up, reminding me of KP peanuts Nibbles advertisements from decades back (especially the opera version) and the tagline 'You never know when the nibbles will strike'.
this was so fun! I did a double creamy sesh with Wenzhou Gold and Young Gushu 2024 and it was beyond warming! Golden goodness.
Love these! ❤ So much fun to watch, just a joy. Thank you, as always, for the wonderful content, entertainment and knowledge you give your community. Most blessed new year to you as well! 🎉
Thank you as always for the excellent content and for helping to cultivate so many people’s love and knowledge of tea. Speaking of blends - have you tried blending Da Hong Pao and Longjing tea? I tried it for the first time today, as it was recommended to me by a tea master based in Hanoi (I live in Vietnam), and it’s beautiful. So well-balanced. Almost feels like an ideal dessert tea. You want to get the Longjing to Da Hong Pao ratio at about 70-30, or 60-40 at most.
Last but not least, why do you not sample some Vietnamese teas? I’m sure you have your reasons, but Vietnamese tea is the most underrated in the world!
This was a wonderful experience, congratulations to all of the Mei Leaf team. Don you are a terrific teacher and mentor. Cheers to all of you also, and best wishes for 2025. I hope to visit and meet you all. Adrian, I need that little yellow teapot, nudge nudge.
Hunting for pralines + rockabilly dreamboat is amazing ! Chocolates galore
So cool! Interesting hearing how everyone describes the blends as scenes/situations or as individual flavors. Everyone at Mei Leaf is so beautiful! 😭
Fun video…. Looking forward to blending at home! Well done Team ML!!Happy New Year!!! 🎉
I live this series. This is very entertaining content, and now I want to try out all the blends at least once!
I love this video. I’m not sure what it is, but I enjoyed everyone’s participation. Welcome to the new faces too.
It's my favourite holiday video again! Now I wonder what teas I should blend today.
This was an exciting tasting video. I vibed the most from all the blends with Sam's one. I imagine it as smoothing the edges of the sheng. I would've gone the opposite way, roughing the edges of a shou - take a creamy, sweet cocoa shou (95%) and add the most bitter Ye Sheng purple tea I can find (5%).
Hi guys, I enjoyed the idea of competition, excellent , fun, and joy to watch to see you all.
Great video! Now trying a blend of Diamond Twilight (waiting for Blazing Heavens to arrive) and Nug Potion. Great combination. And I found out that I had hidden 5 pouches of Nug Potion that I didn't know I had. Only that I was sure that there had to be at least one pouch left somewhere in my cupboard :) For sure I'm going to try the other blends
I really enjoyed this! Have a wonderful new year!
The universe definitely guided you there Adrian :)
I think I'll try Sam's blend brewed in silver with my mother later. We're going to drink tea with snacks roasted over a small charcoal fire in the evening. Cheers!
Wow i enjoyed this so much!
Wow that was fun! You've assembled a crack team over there! Don is as good at procuring as cultivating more than tea! Thank you Don! Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year to the Mei Leaf family and our wonderful community of teaheads!
Fun video! Can't wait to try this with a few of my own.
Best episode so far
it's hilarious that they can guess the person who made the blend better than what the blend actually is 🤣
Will adrian end up game over like his sweater? Let's find out!
20:00 ah... so close to getting another 2 points 😢
Really interesting activity. You inspired my, Don! Here's my blend - 3 parts Golden Pine Needle Dian Hong TO 1 part "Broken Silver" Glutinous Rice Fragrance Pu'er.
Fun Fact: Nuomi Xiang Pu'er was first Real Chinese Tea that I tried when I arrived in Guangzhou in 2000. It put me off Pu'er tea for 20 years. Later I discovered that 2000 was the first time that it was released as a commercial product, and despite the local pride that the tea seller obviously had for it, I hated it! Almost 25 ears on, it has clearly gone through multiple iterations and development in taste, and now, I like it - somewhat. That said, it never occurred to me to blend it with another tea, and THAT step was magical. Thanks! I really enjoyed this video.
By the way, do you have the ratio for Ania's blend?
Just when I thought „I wonder what one could blend with YG24?“, Sam came out with it. Cheers to you, Sam! - I’m going to try all these blends anyway. Raya‘s seems to be a good candidate for topping up. Let’s see. - Thanks for this very special Game Video. Great idea, Don! To the whole Mei Leaf team and family: have a brilliant New Year, let it compensate any of 23‘s shortcomings and bring the best for everyone - including you, fellow tea heads all!
Don’t have Ancient Haze at home, but I just blended Young Gushu 2024 with Ruby Black, and it was DELISH!!😋😋
i got a white-black blend cake from Scott at Yunnan sourcing cause i love love love both of those teas very easily, and it truly is delicious
Cross motion conductor + moonlight white
Very entertaining 😆, especially the second "Winnie-the-Pooh" contestant.
This was great, never tried this but will now. I think I have all the teas used except heirloom silver.
So the reality is Jin Jun Mei rocks 😂
Gyokuro + amber mountain yellow
I love Adrian's jumper. Where can I buy one? 😀
Maybe sell a sample set of all of these?
I can't believe I lost 😅
This video was so bad for me, I have most of these teas and now I HAVE to try these blends...
This was educational and looked fun for everyone. I'm very conservative about blending and often only add a part of a "something else" to nudge the direction.
A common one for me is 0.5-1 part of golden bud dianghong to a ripe pu erh. The caffeine doubles down and you get a nice kick plus a woodsy temperament. (1:5)
Happy New Year and may new beginnings shine on us!
Maybe sell a sample set of all of these?
