You can add a sleep timer to the white noise! Go to the timer section in the clock app, set your time, and then below it says “When timer ends” and choose stop playing. Hope that helps someone!

Thank you for the back tap! A feature I use not listed in this video is Assistive Touch. I use the single touch custom action to take screenshots. Long press will bring up the control center. Thanks for the video. It inspired me to go exploring again in my iPhone settings. ✌🏽♥️🙏🏽

Something I use all the time that others don’t know when I tell them is “hey siri, take a screenshot”
From control center accessibility assistive touch I can unmute my iPhone, do a screenshot, SOS, restart my iPhone if it's giving me problems. Very helpful and time saving. Zoom camera in and out with thumb and first finger instead the dial button on the camera app.
If you connect to your car stereo by Bluetooth and set on the Bluetooth options that connection is indeed to a car stereo it will automatically save the position when you disconnect from it as parking spot

1 great feature is for I guess under accessibility where you can have your all type of messages read by siri if you are away or cant reach your fon. I guess it was built for blind assist but it does great work too for us when we are quite full with our hands and wants to know what the message was all about.
These are great features! Do you know how to use the text effects while in zoomed view. I like my icons bigger but I’ve discovered the only way to use this feature is to put in standard view. Otherwise when I try to use the feature the top is blocked and hard to switch from bubble to screen!
6:56 you can actually use a media app to make the white noise, then make a timer and set it to "stop playing".
The most underrated thing is using screen recording just record a youtube video or Netflix movie or TV show and you will be able to watch all those recordings with sound in ur photos app works good when on plane rides without wifi or if u dont have wifi all the time

I use the magnifier a lot via triple tap. Even with glasses, I have a hard time reading the small print on things. (Side Rant: Why do DVD covers put the one piece of info you want to know - movie duration - in 3 point type?)
On your phones timer, you can select shut down after time runs out.

I should probably start my own channel. I knew all that, maybe because I bought the iPhone 3G when it came out in 2008, and I’m a tech guy.
I use assistive touch for screenshots, rebooting and locking (long press) on the phone and the iPad. The other underrated function is Guided Access, that I use when I hand the phone to others (specially kids), so that they can’t do anything outside the app that I start for them, and only play for like 10 minutes.
Than you for all the useful tips, but for No.9 you said, when this is on Flash will turn off instead should be the other way round, right…
I like the white noise but I wish it had a timer because since downloading 16.2, my battery drains too fast.

For the measure of your height on iPhone 13 Pro it doesn’t have that option in settings to even turn it on to get someone’s height measurements before taking a picture
The imperial system is better for measuring someone's height because you don't have to remember a crazy number of centimeters or count decimal places of meters. I'm 6'2"

I have triple tap set up since ages, but I notice my torch to be on at times I don't want it (and then me wondering why that is, oh triple tap). When you ask Siri to save your parking space, it'll say that it saved it. But when you ask Siri where is my car it doesn't know!!!? You need to open Apple Maps and hope it is still marked...
I wish apple music has a timer, just like Spotify.

Just to add to parked car tip, if you use apple car play it automatically marks where your car is parked when you leave your car.
I also have the Bluetooth connected to each car once I get back in the car apple suggested drive time for that day's activity or drive time home even before I reconnect to apple carplay.

Back tap seems cool but the 3 tap option hardly ever works for me
The Do Not Disturb setting "Until I leave this location" does not seem to be available on my 13 Pro. Is this for the 14 only?
It’s even on my old XS. You must have disabled location services.
6:26 - just activate it through the Control Center.
You actually can set a timer for your white noise or whatever you’re listening to to stop playing. Go into timer, set your timer, click when timer ends, scroll down to stop playing and select it & when your timer is done it will turn off any music or background sounds you have playing.
The back tap wasn’t practical for me, i tried it with and without a case, i had to tap quite hard to make it work on the iPhone 14 Pro, i still have the setting on but i stopped using it.
Suggestion: Back tap once- go back one screen
Back tap twice - close the phone.

If you go to guided access in the settings it will show you how to set it up to where when you triple click the home button it will lock your phone on whatever app you want . So your child can watch TH-cam , Netflix , or Disney without steady pressing pause or looking thru other apps & texting & calling everyone on your contact list 😂 lol instead they will need to wait for you to unlock the screen

The back tap isn’t used because most people have a back cover on phone for protection .
It still works with my Rhino shield case.

A person suggesting people use the LED flash for notifications who aren't hearing impaired is a borderline social agitator. No one wants to see your phone flash in a restaurant, movie, coffee shop, or any where. 🙄👊🏻😄
I agree and don't think it's a useful feature. Just mute the phone and allow Notification banners.

Contrary to popular belief, there are many people who don't need or want the Pro features on iPhone. So, you should concentrate on features that all phones can use. The back taps are pretty lame.
I don't think it's popular belief that most people need Pro iPhones. I do, however, think that most (obviously not all, so need to point out exceptions) people who actually spend time searching up & watching TH-cam videos about iPhone tips & tricks tend to be the geekier/tech enthusiast crowd, who do end up buying Pro iPhones for themselves, whether they actually "need" it or not.
Some of us actually specifically searched for the pro tips.. contrary to misguided belief you should keep the self centered comments to yourself..

disclaimer: I went to an American school grades 1-7, and live in Canada for over half my life (where they still also use ft. & inches for height of humans, but metric for distance measurements), and even I found that super cringe to hear.
@K.M.V S Can’t speak for other provinces, but in Ontario, none of my friends will be able to tell you their own weight in kg or their height in cm (without pulling out their phone to convert)

Ft and inches (Imperial) have been outdated since the Industrial Revolution however still used as it’s easier to still use Imperial than to teach metric.
Take a building for example. Foundations are mostly built using Imperial (basic on site labourer jobs) however once the frame and basic plumbing is up, (almost) every other trade uses Metric. It’s not a coincidence.

Yes, I know many peoples ‘dads and ‘grandads’ have been using ft and inches for years and years but that’s either because it’s what they were taught via the system (school - if they went) or what they learned as an employee / contractor when they migrated from whatever country they did.
Converting to a ‘global’ metric system would be far to costly (time and money) however saying that, the UK for example has been converting form ft and inches to mm and cm since the 1980’s but a lot of people over 50 still use Imperial.
