    Is this full kit available to be delivered to Australia? They are trying to sell me the items separately and its an absolute rip off

    Hi, is there any example of stitching when a vertical crack is close to inside corner. In this case one wall is made by brick that is touching on main external wall made by stones. Thanks a lot.

    I have 10mm mortar joints in an old house 1930s do I need 6 or 8 mm helibar?

      Thanks for your query Dave. It sounds like you are doing crack stitching repairs. If so, Ø6mm HeliBars are sufficient. It would be worth confirming this with our technical team before proceeding as there may also be ongoing movement or excessive loading to be dealt with. Please contact Helifix on +44 (0)20 8735 5200.

    How many bars do you need to put in?

    • @HelifixLTD
      @HelifixLTD  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thank you for your enquiry. In crack stitching applications using HeliBars, a single HeliBar is required per bed joint, spaced at every 4-6 brick courses (300-450mm). If you require any further assistance, our Technical Team will be happy to assist. They can be contacted on +44 (0)20 8735 5200.

    What's the specified depth? watched loads of videos and all is said is "rake out the mortar to specified depth" if it's 15mm, then say 15mm, it's quicker than saying "specified depth" so come on what's the specified depth?

      Thanks for your query. When using a single cord of HeliBars for crack stitching you should rake out mortar beds to the following depths: 25-30mm on single skin (100mm) brickwork e.g. for cavity walls. Or 25-40mm on 9” solid brickwork. Please consult Helifix for detailed advice on specific projects.
