1973 Suzuki GT250. Runs & rides, but could use some tlc. Easy project bike, or great starting point for a full resto. Williams Vintage Cycle, Xenia, OH. www.WilliamsVintageCycle.com SOLD
That is a tail from the 550, had one about 15 years ago, but mine was a triple. Had to sell it because parts were impossible to find and I'm not a machinist. Man that bike was a tank! Very nice looking motorcycle here my friend.
There were pattern replacement pistons available that were cheaper than genuine ones but were made from an aluminium alloy with less silicon in it than the genuine pistons. The fitting of these pattern pistons could cause lots of top-end rattle.
Had one from new in 75.
Kept it for 3 years. It was our only form of transport summer and winter.
Nice bike.

That pitted chrome will clean up with some 0000 steel wool.
All in all a nice one off the early models. Had one of them back in 97 . Sold her off for a BMW R80RT wich was a much more comfortabel touring bike.
Hey I got one of those
I bought one of these new in 1973, I rode it for a couple years. No top end rattle? There's nothing up there to rattle since it's a 2-stroke.

Is it for sale ?
I’m in Canada and I have one for sale.
