Just a few changes to the story , I was running a team of Street Crime guy at that time on that night . The third gun was recovered the same night and the pistol found in the car was only found because they ( Puff and. Wolf ) could not get the trap open in the vehicle ( it was sophisticated and was found the next day by the DEA Trap Unit ) . The bribe I believe was a Rolex watch that Puff offered and was heard by the Detectives but some reason nothing was done with that statement .
The DA Office either messed up or had made a deal with J Lo to not charge her with the gun in the car in return for her testimony ( the DA did have a rep as a pitbull but messed this one up) . When J Lo did testify her being an actress cried and told lies and the jury believed it that was in the DA Office .
One of my Street Crime guys was Det Chris Strucker who had an adversarial relationship with Puff and Wolf due to numerous interactions ( all professional) unlike the Hip Hop Cop who was a borderline perp and was know to pass info or support to certain thugs in the music industry who were perps. Anything to get some side work we use to see this guy hanging by clubs during record parties and if we checked out some perps based on intelligence received from sources the Hip Hop Cop would try to intercede.
The mistake made by the DA Office on this case . Cause and supported future murder, robbery and assaults for years attributed to Puff and Wolf and crew .
    DY

Totally agree with you about the alleged Hip Hop Detective. Borderline perp description is being too kind to him. I've seen him on so many podcasts taking credit for breaking cases and getting info from rappers on both coasts. All he ever had were theories so he was never able to bring any real cases for prosecution. It's been a long time since the warrants were served on Puff's homes and Office and no indictment as yet which worries me. Epstein had video's of very influential people doing things that obviously they can't have get out to the public. Politicians, actors, athletes, Judges etc and the influence of those people is the reason no one has ever been outed or charged. I'm beginning to think that Puff may be in the same "Cat Bird" seat knowing who he has on tape doing whatever. The same type people attended Puff's parties most likely doing drugs, having sex and God knows what else. Those tapes are in evidence with the FBI (sound familiar?). If Puff goes down, how do they keep all of those video's a secret, it's his ace in the hole. The longer this goes on without an indictment makes me think that the fix is in. I guess only time will tell ! Great podcast Bill

@johnnyo3622 everyone involved in epsteins case only got away because of his death. What happens with puff?? His case is ultimate creating multiple related separate cases and I don't think there's enough resources to tackle all those involved. It's one big mess with more high powered lawyers ready to get involved.

Great listen (and, up to finding Scar in DC, really solid story-telling).
Missed out on hearing more details about the actual trial. Can understand, due to the outcome, if a bitter taste lingers. Still, dig into it.

They’re doing fictitious stops on citizens but calling musicians “bad guys” 😂

Do you have any proof on fictitious stops on citizens ? But I have proof on perps that worked in the music industry. If you don’t know what you are talking about just watch the video and shut your pie hole and thank the police for providing your safety .

Read my comments as I never spoke about fictional stops on legit citizens or did I say all those involved in the enter industry were perps . You made that leap as those of your cut does . Those perps involved in the entertainment industry we did go after because they were perps .
Just enjoy the video and thank a police officer for offering you a safe environment but please keep your pie hole shut on things you have no knowledge about.

@@donnieyoung818 you did. you said you had officers make up a fight at a business as a pretext for a stop just to see who is in the car. that’s illegal. that’s a 4th amendment violation. i’m just saying it’s pretty hypocritical for a member of America’s biggest gang to be calling all these people bad guys “gangsters.” even if they were crips or bloods you’re cops… there’s nobody in ny more gangster than the nypd - murders, thefts and all. Stuff that makes rappers look like boy scouts. Targeting black creatives trying to find reasons to lock em up. You said you had informants on the west coast taking pics of musicians and their entourage just to see who they were with even planted in their lives as a driver..how many times did you have people follow mindy mcready or axel rose…0… i wonder why… yet they were committing crimes too. see might be so ingrained in you that you can’t even see how that’s problematic. you repeatedly talk about them beating up camera men. but you never mention how the cameramen could have chosen to not violate their privacy. who’s not going to get pissed off at some ahole shoving a camera in their face at inappropriate moments? and isn’t their anger at the cameramen justified now that you reveal that it wasn’t just magazine pictures but part of unethical investigations? you talk about them walking out on club tabs… you didn’t mention that the guy whose tabs they here walking out on was a rat… which would have justified his death in that eokf let alone a few skipped tabs
