Joey marella for the wwe hall of fame. Even Bruce was asked last year at his monthly question and answer show and didn’t say a talent but Joey the ref. That speaks volumes for a higher up to mention him in that way
It is great to hear Bruno speak so neutral on the accident now; his autobiography was much more "opinionated" which I can't fault him in the least, since surviving that trauma is a process. He was certainly in a different place when penning his book, so if time heals old wounds or whether putting it in writing helped him get to where he is now, then it's blessing
Joey was my favourite referee during my childhood. Man, I always wondered why he wasn’t on TV especially after King of the ring? Years later found out why…RIP
So true!! I had just made a similar comment about how good it is to hear Bruno speak about that tragedy this way now. I always make room for Bruno's autobiography in my Top 5 faves, but that section was very hard to read.
He said “lit up like the 4th of July” and it was the 4th of July…am I the only one that caught that? I dunno, hard to laugh considering the circumstances

@@MoeyViews thank you for commenting
He definitely feels completely different about Joey Marella now compared to when he wrote about him in his book. Good to hear that
Thank you for the comment
