- In this video i will be showing you how I completed Gamma Manticore.
This video is mainly for solo players that are still far away from Alpha.

Also make sure you go to each wyvern and turn on special ai attacks everytime you toss them out make sure it’s on. This fight would be way faster with it

I think poison can tick 10hp of the manticore every second, but how much dmg percent of the poison wyvern does is the same as the poison it shoots, lightning DPS could be really good, fire on the other hand, they might burn it theoretically speaking, but I might tun tests!
In ASE characters would also take damage on thzt one spot where your character starts taking damage, i've got no clue why.

Enable AI special attacks on your wyverns individually, much better damage

I did the same thing yesterday and my wyverns wouldn't attack the manticore properly they would just hover.
The ai movement is terrible.. i hope you still made it through

hey i have 6 mixed spec dragons most of them do around 350 damage and have 10k health. i have no kangaroo i have a 170 damage factory rifle do you think i can win this battle?
The wyverns should be sufficient. Im not familiair with rifles against bosses, id personally go for a shotgun. Kangaroo is not needed, but a tame to run around on and shoot your weapon is needed.
The boss acts very weird sometimes so i cant 100% guarantee you will make it obviously :) i hope this helps though!
(Always bring same species wyvern or they will damage eachother with their breath)

problem is that they need to be same element wyverns, otherwise they kill each other from the fyre or whatever they cast

Question did you get a pump bp? My tribe has been farming drops back to back and haven't had any luck
No, ours were premades from treasure maps. But, i know it is possible to get a pump bp in the red desert drops!

Why not use fire wyverns? Any reason?
I personally never done this fight before, so i went with ‘lightning is best’. But now that ive played with the wyverns a lot more, i do feel like the burn does way more… because they only have to hit the manticore once and itll stay burning. So honestly, i think fire works better
Why not ride a lightning wyvern?
For us the boss kept circling and was not easy to bite/breath on him due to his movement when we hopped on fliers

@@beantownd3172 yeah i understand. But the boss kept circling when we rode the fliers. When they were unridden, the boss practically stood still for the wyverns to go nomnomnomnom.
starting to think flyers are best for this fight, the damn manticore barely lands and when it does is only for a few seconds, so stupid of a mechanic
Well for us it was more on the ground than in the air… we ran it a second time. Almost 90% of the time the manticore stayed grounded. I do not know whats going on in these fights 😅
