There’re some things were it’s like “yeah they were fuking around and found an secret” but getting something that thousands of ppl took weeks to figure out in one playthrough is suspicious
especially step by step, one after the other bullseyes with 0 errors, zero extra experimentation. its just "oh i have an idea... oh it worked perfectly... oh i have another idea... it worked perfectly again"
Genuinely, if people realized how unlikely this was they would all know he is a fraud (which is becoming increasingly more obvious). I genuinely think Dream's speedruns had a higher likelihood of not being faked than this playthrough being blind.
Here’s the most glaring issue, a person with that level of ability to solve puzzle and code would be enticed into fields of immeasurable importance. Streaming games and making games that never come out would essentially be a waste of life and ability.
This is what made me suspicious of him ages ago. I ran across some short that touched upon a toppic I knew a little more about than the average person. He was just blatantly wrong in that short. No biggie, people mess up. So I check the comment section, to look inside, probably someone already threw out that he is wrong... nope, just so many people glazing him.

You can tell this guy is not very smart because he doesn't understand how smart people think. It's generally so sad that his personality on internet is a lie. I really thought he was a pretty chill dude when i watched some of his shorts. I guess i'm happy that i never actually watched his content.
So because someone has played game several days? loads shortened version of 8 hour video of playing game and you guys say he figured the secrets in hours? Sounds like people just want to find that guy to be wrong and fault in everything? Why?
People like him will ALWAYS tell you what they are doing by portraying them in a bad light so you are less likely to think they are guilty of doing exactly that, because that'd make them look bad, right? That's the psychology behind it. He's done this with WoW, almost word for word what he ended up doing the opposite of, and also with Animal Well's puzzles.
I enjoy pirate software's shorts, but what got me to not like him was when he stopped people from signing a petition to allow consumers to prevent companies in shutting down old games. That was already a red flag for me.
Bro i have played this game so many hours and i dont know where tf im going bcs is so complicated. And my man solved everything in one go. Now that's gaming right there
Pirate should play Fez. That game has some notoriously difficult puzzles so it would be a benefit to the community that he should grace us with his superior intellect and show us mere mortals how puzzles are really solved.
I've disliked this guy from the moment I first heard him. You have no idea how cathartic it is seeing all of this. We should keep in my that everyone's fake, boisterous, lies, refuses to admit mistakes, shifts accountability, refuses to hear people out that they've screwed over, ... list never ends. me included. It's the fact we take the time and save the space mentally to admit our faults, try to right our wrongs, ... that keeps us from becoming like him.

If you suddenly don't like him anymore just because of these fake rumors than you were never a real fan. I've been a pirate software fan over 7 years and have 20+ years experience of watching furry streamers so I know what I'm talking about
everything he found or thought of kinda makes sense, even finding the poster on the wall which clearly stands out from everything in that room. My eyes went straight to it and I've never played this game once. However, when you said he figured out that fountain was a barcode, that to me is where it went batshit insane. Like, there is no way.
It's the reverse for me, the barcode was crazy obvious (due to having pattern recognition for barcode start/end sequence), but the poster? Could be straight up anything, I'd first try to assume color values are important. It reminds me of binary memory regions map, could be so many things, yet he immediately "knows" it's a map.
I knew Blizzard devs were clueless, never take accountability and ignore community feedback but it's kind of surreal to see it wielded so shamelessly. At this point I would be unphased if he pulled out a bottle of stolen "milk" and drank it on stream.
I don't mind big ego if its not Obnoxious and can be backed up but this is some weird Child hood trauma or psychopath level gas lighting to the extreme.
woah, woah, woah... hold your horses solving puzzles that a community of players takes weeks in a matter of hours is one thing... but casting rank 1 forst nova? that's next level stuff
I am really good in puzzle games to the point that most puzzle games feels super boring to me or look I played them before but this is absolutely wild, its like you say "I never played tekken before" and you follow up with a 32 steps king combo, he isn't even trying to hide it, no trying, its more of a speedrun than a blind run.
Imagine he as this all started would have just said "my bad, i fucked up but paniced" nothing would have happened and nothing of all this would have come out... absolute ego crashout from beloved streamer to hated lolcow... its baffling to see
Yeah. One could conceivably believe that someone very gifted in pattern recognition and thinking outside the box could solve a few of these. But to solve all in such a short time? The chance seems astronomically small.
I gotta be real... I enjoyed Pirates clips and would watch his shorts often. The WoW drama was annoying but whatever I can get the God complex from someone with his history with that game... But the Ashes clips, and this right here... I'm done watching that dude. It's wild because nobody watches him expecting God tier gaming. The writing is on the wall and his channel will soon be in major decline. All because of his need to be the smartest guy in the room and refusal to admit mistakes and/or being bested by puzzles (that everyone alive was bested by). No doubt he accessed the Dark Souls DLC on his first run blind. People watch blind runs to enjoy the struggle and see others battle the same challenges they had... Dude legit stole that joy from his audience.
I’d say he also stole the joy from himself. Beating outer wilds on stream with my community was such an amazing experience. To trade that just to flex that I’m smarter than I am… it’s a waste of
man watching him solving this its like watching Neo in matrix he just sees the numbers and data with his naked eye thats why he can figure out things in matter of seconds
What’s really funny for me was the fact that he is not really playing the game. Just casually solving a secret ending right at the start in a blind playthrough.

I think some Outer Wilds coverage will mark the end of the season.
Two gamer dudes with god complex to feed us with content here in 2025. Ty Elon and piratesoftware
But does atleast one of those thousand of players are hacker with dad who works at blizzard?
Genuinely, if people realized how unlikely this was they would all know he is a fraud (which is becoming increasingly more obvious). I genuinely think Dream's speedruns had a higher likelihood of not being faked than this playthrough being blind.
Here’s the most glaring issue, a person with that level of ability to solve puzzle and code would be enticed into fields of immeasurable importance. Streaming games and making games that never come out would essentially be a waste of life and ability.
The best one is the secret he didn't get and he figures it out by just drawing it out of nowhere.
Pirate is an example of of, if u do things with enough confidence, ppl will believe u...until u actually listen to what hes saying
@pewpin1039 yeah ive noticed from his shorts too
@@LoLo25A all his content seems heavily moderated. Even in videos like this there are always some number of people coming in to defend him. Idk if he's paying people or theres some bot service or what.

he obviously has the brainpower of a thousand men
"I have and idea" translates to "I just looked up the solution"
The "wait for it" is always such a giveaway.
Implying Pirate already knows for certain what is going to happen and is he is excited that his audience is about to witness what is coming.
"We can never say 100% certainly."

Playbook narcissistic behaviour on display. Very entertaining
It has been fun.
"Playbook narcissistic behavior" 🤓🤓🤓🤓

God. The fact that he ALWAYS gets its right on the first thought or try. He's not even trying to be subtle.
That or working at Blizzard truly makes you into a Super-Human. What position was he? The head of Psychic enhancement?
His position was "THE HEAD"
He was a QA tester nepo hire thanks to his dad pulling some strings. He claims he left blizzard and reapplied later so got hired on his own merit but 😂
He was custodian of the new mother's milk fridge. He suspiciously very enthusiastically volunteered for the unpaid position.
his position... hired because of daddy so give em a cushy job where he cant a mess it up team number 12 in a 10 man QA security team.
@@AliciaVega2192 In reality he got fired, and then daddy got him rehired again after he couldn't find another job.
Just a bit more info on that secret ending, the dev understimated that the community could brute force the puzzle in weeks, he expected people to take years to solve it
Or just walk into a room “look chat look, it’s about the number of blocks”
well he probably never thought pirate software would play it, because then he would've expected it be solved in a couple hours
All of this because the guy ratted out of a dungeon, legit nothing would have happened if he just admited to panick, but no, you have to just be right everytime, even in a blind playthrough xdd
he legit turned around, thought about helping, decided "no, this guy dared to talk back to me" and ran away again. It was 100% malicious
@feluto7172 yeah legit, not even talk back, he was already ratting out just because they miss played, like how fcking petty do you have to be
@@omega7057 Gonna be honest, you get your calls that messed up, hear people are still fighting. Turn thinking I might be able to help em, and then hear that they have another pack. Na, I'm bailing too in that situation. Pretty sure I saw the rogue did too.
Disclaimer. I'm not a Doctor. I have never worked at Blizzard, and I have only 1 month in Game Dev (I hear 20 years is minimum).
Are you a physician though?
Have u stayed at a holiday inn express recently though?

Well, You watching a reaction of a 7 hour edited long play. Have you watch the full 50+ hour stream of the game where he tries each puzzle multiple times and even do multiple re run just to make sure he find every possible puzzles?
Don't worry, making furry art in your basement like Jason 'thor' also counts as game dev experience I've been told.
Although now that I mention it I don't think that helps.
when he said he was a hacker - i didnt think that he meant he is a hack
You can tell this guy is not very smart because he doesn't understand how smart people think. Being smart doesn't mean you see some kind of pixelated animal that looks like it could be anything and go ''yep, that's a groundhog which is a reference to Groundhog Day so I need to change my system date to groundhog day and something will happen.'' That's not smart. This is fail RP. Imagine doing this every time you see some kind of weird animal in a game. See a crocodile in a game? Well, it's time to change the date to when Crocodile Dundee came out. Didn't work, let's try the actor's birthday. Didn't work, let's try the release date of the home release. Didn't work, let's try the date when the sequel was released.
he is rping mr robot irl
@@dariohenriquez7773 his code is literally in Mr Robot. Lol.
@@JohnRed to be fair, it doesn't look like a mouse, mole, hedgehog or beaver whatsoever. That specific point is the weakest out of the bunch. Heck, groundhogs are a pretty common sight in the states.
@@magiwastaken To me it looks like a bear. If you told me it's not a bear and I look closer, it looks like a hamster. I don't think a 40 year old nerd who sits at his computer and worked in california in offices all his life is seeing groundhogs and they're on his mind.
This is just splitting hairs and if we're going to argue the most insignificant detail, he still loses.
Eagles are common in America, that doesn't mean that an American is going to set his date to the release of the first Eagles album every time he sees an eagle in a game. This is nonsense and anyone telling you otherwise is gaslighting.
@@dariohenriquez7773 I do kinda want to point out that mr Robot stole an ARG from Defcon where the only info they could of gotten it was a write up about that puzzle that Piratesoftware made. because you know... he competed in Defcon multiple times and won award for it multiple times so...
Pirate, or Maldavius Figtree as he prefers to go by. His content and drama will never dry up. He is the world record holding largest lolcow
The best part about pirate's revelation concerning the poster is that when he says
15:08 "this is 4 blocks wide and that part of the poster/map is blocks wide" it wasn't 4 blocks wide.
12:30 He found the 2x2 wingdings and immediately made it 4 blocks wide. So why the hell would this be connected somehow? You made the 2x2 wingdings nonsense 4 blocks wide because you looked up the solution.
This video is a 7 hour long edited video of the original 85 Hour Long stream.
Like... guys, wtf. We were there watching him go through the whole thing, and now everyone's drama farming.
@boredboar, so he solved in 85 hours what took the community several weeks?
@@MrJordan5051 damn... So we're looking at the proverbial Oppenheimer of puzzle platformers. 1 Pirate software = 1 Animal Well community.

The only thing worse than the smartest person in the room is the person that really HAS to be the smartest person in the room...
Especially when he's the only person in a room, broadcasting to hundreds of people who are in their own rooms, presumably by themselves?
The skeletons are just marching out of the closet now.
It's generally so sad that his personality on internet is a lie. I really thought he was a pretty chill dude when i watched some of his shorts. I guess i'm happy that i never actually watched his content.
Hey cmon be fair, he probably just has a good gaming chair
So because someone has played game several days? loads shortened version of 8 hour video of playing game and you guys say he figured the secrets in hours? Sounds like people just want to find that guy to be wrong and fault in everything? Why?
i dont know why this guy became a streamer he could solve world hunger
People like him will ALWAYS tell you what they are doing by portraying them in a bad light so you are less likely to think they are guilty of doing exactly that, because that'd make them look bad, right? That's the psychology behind it. He's done this with WoW, almost word for word what he ended up doing the opposite of, and also with Animal Well's puzzles.
Interesting, never thought of that.
Pirate is like Seong Gi-hun in Squid Game season 2; he's played these games before.
It’s never “look at how cool this puzzle they made is” and is always “look how cool I am for solving this puzzle”
This is pirate when he has full mana. Literal unstoppable genius. And I also heard he worked at Blizzard.
Full mana pirate is unethical
I've disliked this guy from the moment I first heard him. You have no idea how cathartic it is seeing all of this.
We should keep in my that everyone's fake, boisterous, lies, refuses to admit mistakes, shifts accountability, refuses to hear people out that they've screwed over, ... list never ends. me included. It's the fact we take the time and save the space mentally to admit our faults, try to right our wrongs, ... that keeps us from becoming like him.
It’s funny because why bother saying it’s blind but still doing the absolutely most insane impossible to find Easter eggs in a game. His ego is sooooo insane
... _ - +√
Pirate: I just thought of something! It's code for the latitude and longitude of the Eiffel Tower. If I plug that into Apples Map app while logged out, and turn Bluetooth on... Ding Ding Ding! We solve puzzles in this house!
The crazy part is that his community is filled with programmers with imposter syndrome, bro is giving them a heavy dosage all at once
Can't wait for a blind La Mulana playthrough where he beats the game in one sitting.
It is sad that some people get famous by acting like a good guy but in reality they aren't. Pirate is the prime example of someone lying about everything and developing such a god complex that he gets dunning kruger effect and cognitive dissonance to a level which no normal human beeing can even comprehent.
This dude has drama in other games also, Eve Online and Second Life! his name was MALDAVIUS!
Narcissists always cause drama wherever they go.
and outer wilds, path of exile, WOW and even more
Don't forget about Ashes of Creation. and soon to be PoE
The biggest pirate simp is pirate. Every photo in the house is him. Mirrors around his bed so he can watch himself go to sleep, and an alarm clock with his voice telling him he has amazing things to do today and don't forget you worked at Blizzard.

Was he actually serious about this playthrough? It just feels very familiar to the way I interact with my kids.
"I wonder what would happen if I flick this switch. You wanna try it? Oooohhh look, the light went on, that's craaaaaazy"
Child's play for Mr Robot himself. He literally invented cryptology, so a juvenile puzzle like this is trivial for a man of such intellect.
Were getting more Maldavius Figtree true color before Gta 6
Pssst his dad has 25 years at Blizzard he doesn't even touch a keyboard anymore telekinetic.
As convincing as DarkSydePhil when ever he plays a new game thats meant to be challenging.
This felt like one of those 90s movies where Jeff Goldblum would connect the most insane logical connections to solve a puzzle.
This is exactly why your math teachers told you all to show your work
I can’t wait for him to come out and say it was all a social experiment and he was trolling everyone and he’s actually laughing at all of us behind the scenes ect. Because you know he can’t just take the L. He has infinite ego and he’s not capable of admitting he was wrong. 💀
it's cathartic to see people realizing him being a full-blown narcissist and pathological liar
First time I saw the guy my gut told me he was slimy. It doesn't surprise me that he is a fraud.
yup I knew he was a fake when he started spouiting things about coding while knowing absolutely nothing about it. On top of that he kept calling himself thor and it just rubbed me wrong. His name is not thor. It is jason.
Crazy at how the internet works.. all it takes is one grain of sand like a sinkhole and the internet starts investigating you..
I bet he wished he took accountability and didn't play like a noob in Dire Maul (WoW Dungeon)
Honestly at this point keep it going. I went from piratesoftware fan to "wtf is going on" to "brother just apologize" to "take him all the way down"
he deserves this fall, im sorry. he NEEDS some humbleness.
edit after the video: yea this is absolutelly ridiculous. what a clown. this is SO disappointing.
You need some training in grifter detection.
It should take you 30 mins of listening to him talking about anything to figure out he's... whatever he is.
@@pacman_pol_pl_polska first whiff i had that he was BSing was when my feed kept getting bombarded with his shorts, naturally even if you don't click them they'll show up as you scroll. It was about game anti-cheats and the apex server hacks, he was really just spewing misinformation the whole time while speaking smugly, instant "don't recommend", then this happens lol.
If you suddenly don't like him anymore just because of these fake rumors than you were never a real fan. I've been a pirate software fan over 7 years and have 20+ years experience of watching furry streamers so I know what I'm talking about
This whole drama is pure cinema
His subconscious is forcing him to tell you everything he's doing. He can outsmart me but he can't outsmart hisself.
it goes deeper and deeper and im all here for it
bro why even go for the super obscure hidden puzzle. pirate is THE biggest rat holy hell.
everything he found or thought of kinda makes sense, even finding the poster on the wall which clearly stands out from everything in that room.
"I thought this drama was over" proceeds to prolong the drama
But can't figure out how much mana it costs to cast frost nova after playing mage for 20 years
woah, woah, woah... hold your horses
solving puzzles that a community of players takes weeks in a matter of hours is one thing... but casting rank 1 forst nova? that's next level stuff
Expecting him to admit that he was wrong in any way is like expecting a penguin to fly. He's not built for that.
Lmao I fucking love how each day, another lie or bad story about him is uncovered.
I think that, for me, the word that best describes Thor is "disappointment".
To trade that just to flex that I’m smarter than I am… it’s a waste of
I am just disappointed in myself for not being able to come up with an explanation. Somethings can be seen as he does kinds but far too many incidents
man watching him solving this its like watching Neo in matrix he just sees the numbers and data with his naked eye thats why he can figure out things in matter of seconds
This almost makes me wantto open a channel called the Seer doing "Blind Playthroughs", but nailing every single one of them at blazing speed.
@04:32 nah, no way. seriously. zero chance this was some weird idea.
It's insane to me that after that crazy groundhog day call, he didn't get immediately exposed. That was so blatant I almost can't believe that worked.
It's like cheating on a math test but you're forced to show your work
All of those amazing ideas just to not be able to hit Frost Nova, omg
What’s really funny for me was the fact that he is not really playing the game. Just casually solving a secret ending right at the start in a blind playthrough.
Genuinly wouldn't be surprised he has the step by step article when he's looking at "chat"
Us mere mortals can't comprehend his galaxy brain
All of this because of a mentally challenged rogue and druid.
It's crazy how PS has become this petty, easy to cry or tantrum pathological liar character so easily exposed in like a week.
Guess all that opsec training didn't do very good.
