    Interesting post and challenge. For wedging, I think the first thing to possibly help is secure your table top so there is no back and forth as you wedge the clay. And for smaller bits of clay wedging you might try the ram's head method.

    Nice bowl!
    Did you convert your sunroom to studio? I plan to do that too.
    I would like to recommend a Shimpo or Brent wheel if you can afford it. Because you are very tall need a decent professional wheel for your art work. If you keep bending like that, you might have a back pain.
