Mega Man 9 - Wily's Castle Stage 4

Time for the traditional boss rush stage. At the end of which awaits Wily in a new Dinosaur themed Wily Machine. The first phase has you bounce an egg back that Wily shoots at you. You have to make sure it explodes near the head. After that come phase 2 where he will now use a flamethrower. He will either move right up next to you and shoot it at you, or he will float above for a bit, slam down on your current position, and then use it. The fire always goes in a downward arc so you can jump over it. Concrete Shot does the most damage in this phase. After that comes the Capsule. Wily will warp around the room and send two different sets of shots off at you. It can either be 4 shots that home on your current position, ala Mega Man 7, or about 6 shots that go along the ground and come down from above. Plug Ball does the most damage in this phase, though naturally it's difficult to hit him with. __

Unpopular opinion: Mega man 9's Wily capsule is harder than Mega man 7's capsule

It's up there, the homing balls aren't that bad in 9 but that other damn attack is just so annoying to avoid, the thing is that at least the Mega Man 9's wily capsule weakness deals way more damage to it than the Mega Man 7's wily capsule weakness

I didn't have any support items to heal me or regenerate all my weapons so after many tries, I knew had no choice but to restart and grind bolts, but I didn't mind, im actually at the final stage now fighting the 3rd phase of dr wily as the making of of this comment

When you get this far into the game. MAKE SURE YOU GET THOSE BOLTS TO BUY EVERYTHING THAT YOU NEED FOR THIS FIGHT, CAUSE YOU WILL WASTE ALL OF YOUR LIVES BATTLING THE WILY MACHINE. AND DO IT BEFORE YOU ENTER THE WILY CASTLE, CAUSE THEN YOU HAVE TO RESTART THE ENTIRE CASTLE ALL OVER AGAIN.

You want to only hit the egg when it hits the ground. If you hit it when it bounces for the second time, it should always go in the mouth.
