It was one of the first 10 anime I ever saw all being action series before Spice and Wolf. Which I thought I hated romance due to Hollywood and TV romance. I was very skeptical I would even like Spice and Wolf as the plot seemed like it would bore me to death with it being heavily focused around economics and being a merchant. But since it was on Netflix I decided to at least give it a chance. And as soon as Holo showed up I instantly feel in love with her and the series. Still to this day in my all time favorite Female character in any media. And loved the series so much that I had to go out and buy the Light Novels which I own all 21 volumes of. Still waiting for volume 22 which COVID seems to have delayed that.

No I agree with Futaba since Futaba is one of the best girls of Persona 5 but Rise? eh shes eh. Shes a alright even good character but is NOT the best Persona 4 girl. That would have to be Naoto.
Zack Arin Nah, Rise is still best girl. Naoto doesn't even come close to Rise in terms of strength of will, strength of conviction, diligence and overall capability of getting shit done. As for Futaba. She's alright, but Kawakami is better.
Mel Naoto is fine, she's just far inferior to Rise as waifu material. Rise is distinctly capable among her peers. She works incredibly hard towards the things she wants and shows real capacity in achieving her goals. She's holds aplomb and conviction in the way she thinks and how she acts that the others don't share. She has a heightened sense of responsibility to others, always being considerate and taking responsibility for doing everything she can to help others. She's easily the most compassionate girl because of just how warm, caring, and supportive she is. Pretty welcome traits, I'd personally say. These traits also make her a much more natural fit as a support character than Futaba's personality could ever hope of matching. The power of Futaba's persona as a navigator is simply attributed to her hacking skills; Rise's support powers come purely from the resolve in her heart to help others. Also, consider this: a girl that gives everything she has in going after the things she wants (whether it be supporting friends or hitting on the protagonist) is a girl who gives everything she has towards achieving her goals. Not only that, but she does so with a smile and confidence. These are the kind of people who have futures, get far and succeed in life. Does Futaba, Naoto, or any other P4 girl carry themselves with the same confidence? It's not unrealistic to envision that most of the girls will have decent futures. Make no mistake however, as Rise is a girl who is capable, has the personality to be successful with and without others, and will absolutely go on to achieve great things. Whether or not she's your favorite girl or not. That's the definition of top tier waifu material right there.

For Haru in Persona 5, it's really sad that her personality is hidden in mementos dialogues. Nice but has hidden sadist side beneath her. Totally sweet cupcake but with habaneros. At first she was eh, but as I played more of Persona 5 became one of my favorite girls. I just really wish they incorporated her into the story early on or have more impact in the game overall.
When it comes to Darkness (Konosuba), she's kinda supposed to look like a very standard knight girl, so that when you get to know her personality.. Well.. Oh boy.. Let's just say, she defies expectations for a standard knight x)

For Haru in Persona 5, it's really sad that her personality is hidden in mementos dialogues. Nice but has hidden sadist side beneath her. Totally sweet cupcake but with habaneros.
At first she was eh, but as I played more of Persona 5 became one of my favorite girls. I just really wish they incorporated her into the story early on or have more impact in the game overall.
