- So…. On a recent walk I jumped on a tuk tuk for a few minutes. Usually a 10egp ride. The driver was super young so I decided to give him 50egp, (about £2.50). He wanted 100. I said no, and this is what happened! Could’ve turned out a lot differently! Beware, and enjoy!
You were much calmer than I would have been... Just watching made me nervous! I would have been screaming, "Stop looking at me, WATCH THE ROAD, DRIVE!!!" Lol
I'm a nervous person in general, that was so hard to watch!!! *gasp
With all the scamming, hustling and general annoyance Egypt is getting less and less tourism. Word has gotten around! Nowadays, with the internet, more and more people find out how annoying it is to visit Egypt and they avoid it. After all one can admire the pyraminds and the other sights through youtube, at the comfort of one's home, without all that stress. Egyptians have to wake up and change their mentality before it's too late, otherwise they will starve.
Too true! It's been quite a while since my last time in Cairo, but I found the further from Cairo and other touristy places, the people are much cooler. I miss being there overall, made some good friends!!

This is not Cairo. Come to america and see East New York Brooklyn and see Florida and North Carolina and South Carolina and look at Tampa and the leaks over hear. And if ask this little drivers for the pyramid’s you in al Giza not Cairo and you now in farmer’s area not the city’s. And if this little kid ask you for 100 pound it’s only 5 American dollar. Be fear.
Thanks! I think everybody should be treated the same, and the price should be the same for everybody. This is a mentality problem, and taking advantage of foreigners is very much an image Egyptians have given people all over the world. Moreover, if this child thinks he can force someone to give him more money by driving erratically, can you imagine what this could escalate to, or if I had been an elderly person, or pregnant?

And question why you do not show the area which is 1000 time better than nyc or Washington DC of any capital city for any state in america we do have city green all way and city 4th and 5th generation we do not have them in america
