Thanks! This showed exactly what I needed to do. This tutorial happened so fast it was almost a magic trick. Maybe explain what you're going to do and then slowly show you doing it while again explaining what you're doing. Example: "I'm selecting the face that I want to be open after the thickness tool is applied and then selecting Thickness from the Face Tools dialog." At least slow down and hover the cursor over the operation to make it easier to see.
Yes for future videos, I think I'll do it in multiple phase, 1) hook overview, 2) 1 min deeper overview to explain what will be done and explained in the video, and then a long and quite video step by step. You know I'm experimenting the format and everything at the moment, it's not so easy to make good youtube videos, there is a lot of things to learn, to try, and when it's clear for you, it's not alway clear for everybody. So thank you for the feedback, it helps a lot
yes and no, I don't always share that opinion. Instead of fighting over words, I prefer to focus on concrete issues, such as what it's for and what we can do with it.

it's not a function, ... it's a Feature - aka "Parametric Feature"..
we're OK, but this kind of finesse is going to confuse my teenage beginners :-)
@@ga3d_._tech528 the younglings should be taught the meanings of words first 🙂
