Thanks for watching Sophia, ya, I watered it 2 to 3 times a day, but I didn't have much luck, it just kinda turned the ground blue and then ran off during the watering. But I did go back and re seed and now we got grass growing pretty good. I have a update about it on my video "Swimming Pools?" if you would like to see it. Thanks again, Have a great day.
LOL, all I know is I sure tried and it didn't look like Sod HAHA. But I seeded some more grass seed and can't wait til this Spring. Thanks for watching.
When I say prepare the soil I mean till the soil, raking is not enough. They may be compaction which caused the spots in the first place. After you till add something like JG love your soil to help with the compaction. Then add the seeds, then starter fertilizer note starter fertilizer then top soil and cover the seeds with either saw dust or straw. Thats what I did and got full germination after about 1 week. Its summer so i have to be watering every day before and after work.
@@maggarlion Great advice, but here in the Ozark Mountain's you can not run a tiller through this stuff because the rocks will tear it up, I should of showed the rest of our yard, it is green and full of grass, all we do is rake it up, seed, and straw. I read the directions very close and it did not call for proper top soil or straw, just water, that's why I purchased it, it was supposed to be like hydro seed (no need for straw) So I bought this after watching their TV commercial, it showed them spraying a 4 foot by 8 foot sheet of plywood that was elevated off of the ground, and WOW, perfect grass after a few weeks. So they did not even have top soil on that plywood, nor did they put straw on it. So why would I do all of the work that you described when the commercial nor the instructions didn't say that I had to do that?
@@AmericanHillbilly ok I see your point about the tiller but. I think u have a compaction problem. Forget the commercials it’s just seed. I use love your soil after testing for both compaction and Ph. You have to find out what caused the bald spot. For ph I used Magical plus if the ph not right. For compaction I use Love your soil. I don’t like to waste money. I like to get it right. I must confess I have made some mistakes in the past like throwing seeds and not adding top soil and compost. Never again.
Good ol boy with bad grass ❤
😂 very true, thanks for watching.
LMAO, thanks for the giggles my dude!

It works but you need to prepare the soil.
I will try it again, but we raked the ground and put down some fertilizer, in the Hills, we just don't have the rich top soil. Any suggestions?
