Fast Paper Bag Journal/Folio

- Thanks for joining me. Today I am making a super fast and fun paper bag journal folio. Something to keep me in my happy place. You'll need fabric glue, a paper bag, fabric, scraps, a decorative image and some paper for the journal pages. A sewing machine is not required, although I have used mine to add texture.

how fun! those would be great to make to take as a travel journal, or to make upon returning home using all the ephemera collected from a trip. yes, someday we will get to travel again!! thank you :)
How simple to do a little journal. I have to say Wendy that trick to put glue where might have missed a spot was great!! I will definitely use that trick. Oh my gosh on the snow. We have spring here in Southwest Ohio. Hope you snow melts quickly. Take care and TFS! ❤️

Ah! I love the glue tip for under low paper! I like the whole tutorial, in fact. I haven’t made a paper bag journal yet, this looks a fun one to do!

I really, really like this journal. Very nice with the paper bag andfabric. Please do not be upset and I do NOT mean this offensively or insulting, but I enjoyed it more w/o your cat. It was less distracting for me. I am an animal lover. Thank you so much for teaching. I like your website!

Simple and full of potential. Love it. Don't have access to this sort of flat paper bag, so will make my own with two sheets of paper and pinking sheers. TFS.

Wanted to thank you again. I had been saving Walgreens bags and wasn’t sure what to do with them. They aren’t flat bags, so I trimmed off the bottom, unfolded the side pleats and resealed the bottom. Now they are flat bags and I’m just waiting for the glue to dry, so I can decorate them. Thanks!
