It’s histamines for me for sure. Thanks for the confirmation. I have a lot of allergies it seems like, and wine gives me a headache very fast, even if I have a little, especially red. If I happen to have had an anti-histamine, no headache.
i can drink 4-6 shots of vodka at 8:00 p.m., go to bed at 11:30 p.m. and feel mostly fine the next morning. i drink 1 glass of sweet red wine at 8:00 p.m., a slight headache starts in 30-60 min, go to bed at 11:30 p.m., and have a huge headache with slight nausea the next morning which lasts 6-8 hours, requiring medicine and unable to do much. i drink water for both after alcohol, before sleep and when i get up, and breakfast additionally coffee, banana and yogurt for both. but I just can't drink most red wines. white wine mostly doesn't give me problems. sometimes if I drink too much white i'll feel a little uneasy in the morning for a few hours but nothing too profound, i'm still functional. i prefer red wines but it doesn't like me back.
Since red wines seem to be the culprit of your headaches, it may well be the histamines or tannins that affect you. Try drinking lighter, less tannic red wines like Gamay or Pinot Noir and see if that works better for you. If it is a histamine issue, you could try taking an anti histamine before a glass of red to see if that is the issue. Good luck and thanks for watching.
Exactly. I can take 2 shots and be fine. I can drink 2 glasses of champagne and be fine. But just a small glass of red wine and I get a headache. 2 glasses of red wine, I get a horrible headache and extremely ill. I don't care because I hate the taste anyhow.... But there's definitely something with red wine!

Unfortunately, some wines contain allergens that affect a small percentage of people. Looks like you might be one of them. Hope my tips helped and that you can find wines to enjoy!
Thanks for watching. You are right. As I explain in the video, there are people who get wine headaches from various other factors, including chemicals produced during wine's fermentation such as histamines, tyramines, etc. We just can't discount the fact that alcohol can also be the cause.
Ok so I can get a 705 ml bottle of 80° and I never get a headache, at worse my stomach is upset but I’ve been making my own wine and wow I get headaches a lot, I think it has to do with the sugar for me because I usually can’t wait for it to be dry so it’s super sweet. I’ll have to go the whole month now and see if that helps
Definitely worth a try. The sugar, the winemaking additions that haven't been absorbed...there are lots of elements of still fermenting wine that can cause headaches.

i started drinking few months ago i started with wine and i wasn't getting drunk from it easily which made me go for stronger drinks i didn't used to feel any headch since that time, i eat well before it, but after that for few days i stopped drinking and i smoked weed for one week it is my firist time to try it and last night when i drunk alcohlic and after while of drinking i started feeling the worest headch i ever tried i still feel it till now
Drink one red and then one white with some food Drink good stuff in good company while in good mood If you get up and dance after that you can flash and repeat If you wake up with headache after that never drink again
I been drinking 2 glasses a night sometimes 3 for a while but lately I do get a headache after 5 hours after so I wake up with headache . Weird... maybe I should stop for a couple of days? Thanks for your video.
Unfortunately, our bodies ability to process alcohol can get sluggish if we don't take a couple of days off a week to let the liver recover. See if that helps. I always try to drink less but better! Thanks for watching.

It's not alcohol no one gets beer headaches unless hungover. Wine headache doesn't require even getting drunk.
