Frequency is directional proportional to no of pole/2. Frequency (seconds) is also directly proportional to rotation per second =>N/60. hence the formula f=NP/120.
In the case of a two-pole asynchronous AC motor connected to a voltage of 110 V and a frequency of 25 Hz, the synchronous speed of the rotary field is: the solution is 750 tr/min how that ?
may you please explain in detail why 4 poles we need 2 cycles to make 1 revolution I got confused by north south north south RMF please if you do not mind

Amazing experience of Learning.. Thanks Sir..
How poles form in a motor can you explain in brief....thank you.....
Well explained..
Hi thanks for your help
In the case of a two-pole asynchronous AC motor connected to a voltage of 110 V and a frequency of 25 Hz, the synchronous speed of the rotary field is: the solution is 750 tr/min
how that ?
Super explanation sir

awesome ^-^ prof
Why use of 120
(2*f)/p=revolution completed in one second
Sir upload the notes on Synchros and Synchro Transmitter with Examples, and Real time Applications with Explanations
Frequency means no. Of cycles / second kada sir
can we have 16 poles for slower rpm at the same fq
Why is it 120f? not 60f ?????
because a pair poles (one North pole and one South pole) will generate one cycle (positive and negative parts). so N = 60f/(P/2) = 2*60f/P = 120f/P
I see
Too fast for me
Worst explanation.. Even he also don't know the right concept..
You only explain brother
