Thanks for this interesting autopsy. This seems to be a common fault with these heat pumps, and I've just experienced it myself. Main 63A circuit breaker has been tripping thus turning off *all* our electrics. Your very clear video shows exactly why that happens. I believe the usual Bosch error code for this fault (the one we've seen) is E09. I've just bought a new one from Bosch for £113, thinking it would be easy to fit. However, I think I will need to remove the base of the dishwasher to complete the job properly.
Depends on the model. I have a SMV69M01GB/B3. There are various videos of the older version. I put a rant video on my channel cos it seems Bosch have modified their designs to make access harder. Apart from the water above the 240VAC - I marvel at the 3 Grey wires into the pump with a clip that disintegrates. If you get his wrong you get a E11 error. My guess is the 1, 2, 3 shod be signal, gnd, signal and I traced these back to the PS. The GND is middle of the 3 Grey wires next to 2 yellow..on some models these are 3 orange wires. There was no water ingress in my heater coil. I suspect the soldering had Flux residue and over time this ate away at the joint. For the moment I added a jumper wire (it shouldn't get wet there). My thinking is if I can get the machine working and heating again then it might be worthwhile to get a replacement pump. There again I also figure £100 for the part should probably be used to buy a different brand. Why? It isn't cleaning as well as it used to. It isn't as silent as it used to be. And this is 3rd expensive German designed machine I have had in 15 years so they don't last.
