I watched a video several months ago and they had pushed big bins of products out the back door of the DG, several people were there and the manager came out and told them to take what ever they wanted... she was taking over as the new manager and she just emptied out the back room... New cases of products, tons of them There was several truck or van loads of things that were tossed out... I wonder how they can afford to do something like that... really makes me wonder if corporate knows that this kind of thing is happening...
Fantastic finds Shannon, and Beth. You should have memberships on your channel. It would help you with gas money for dumpster diving. It's so unfair what the owners brother is doing. You all should sue him for lost wages, and tips if the bar doesn't reopen in a timely fashion by the new owner. The person that purchased the bar should have had the liquor license as soon as the deal was finalized. They are remodeling all the Dollar general s. I too went diving and found a lot of black bags full of merchandise. They have no time to put it on clearance nor do they wish to. I went in the stores to penny shop a few days after they were all resetting the isles with all new cleaning products AND the next week they did the pet food and human food items so again 13 bags that time!!! Unreal

Wow! What a haul. I agree with you about the stuff going to the landfill, it's awful. I guess Beth really is good luck. Sorry about your job, that was dirty of that owner. I hope Karma gives him a kick in the booty. He was probably afraid you all would walk out on him if he gave you more notice. He obviously doesn't know his employees at all. I feel bad for all of you but especially the cooks who you've been helping. Hopefully the guy will be able to feed his family and his dogs.

Hi Shannon and Beth. I got 17 black grab bags out of 3 of my closest DG's about two months ago just like this of all cleaning supplies. I went in the stores to penny shop a few days after they were all resetting the isles with all new cleaning products AND the next week they did the pet food and human food items so again 13 bags that time!!! Unreal
