If unused for a couple of months during Winter, is it best to leave the valve open or closed AFTER deflating ? If left open, would it be easy for some insects or dust getting in, please?

Is it possible to start rolling from tail of the board, to make bottom and fins inside of the roll. I do such about 5 years) . And put pump separately in my car. So fins are protected. Hi from Sakhalin 🤙

Hi Sakhalin, if it works for you then sounds like a good idea :)

I happened to roll the pump with the hose together while the hose was placed separately here, was that not good? Thanks

I noticed that the board in your demonstration was completely flat with absolutely no air in it. In reality, one would have to deflate a board first and the board never gets that flat, so not so easy to roll as per your demonstration, Would be great if the pump had a reverse pump to be able to suck the air out first. Any suggestions?

HI Henry, This board was one of our Ride's on display in our showroom here at HQ and was rolled up after being inflated so it is possible to get it to this size if you roll the board around the pump and squeeze the air out. Thank you for your feedback regarding the deflate mode - I will pass this along to our design team. Happy Paddling

I am wondering , is it best to leave the valve open or closed AFTER deflating if it is going to be unused for several months? thanks

We'd suggest just leaving it open once you've rolled the board.

Is there any reason you can not pack away the paddleboard without the pump in the middle? I have four boards, and the two that are not RED fold away really small without the pump. So just considering packing one RED board away without the pump.

Hi John, it’s totally fine to back a board up without the pump in the middle. 👍. Cheers John.

Is it okay to roll the board without the pump in it? My pumps also leaks an oily substance. Is that normal?

Hey guys at Red, had my 2019 10’6” Ride for a few months and absolutely loving it. Thank you for this video, been having issues on packing my board away, the main flap on my bag seems fairly tight on the middle fin, is this ok? I’m worried over time this might cause damage?

Hi Alex, it shouldn't cause any issues if you are rolling your 10'6 Ride board board tightly around the pump but you could play with positioning in the bag if concerned.

@@Red-Equipment thank you for getting back to me so quickly guys, I'll have a play around with packing, I think I'm babying my board a little, it's a lot tougher than I give it credit for. Thanks again

Normally I had removable US Box fins. Now with 10’6 I am bit concerned about fins as I travel a lot with my boards (trains and planes). Do you happen to protect the fins somehow?

Hi Bartosz, The ifins have been designed to be super durable allowing them to bend and flex meaning they won't get damaged in transit. Thanks

@@Red-Equipment After opening the box first time one of my fins seem quite bended one way is that normal?

Hi Christian, The ifins are designed to flex and bend (so they don't break). If left bent for a while they can easily be straightened. Here is a video that should help: th-cam.com/video/OZCgK1pm4ug/w-d-xo.html
